OKLAHOMA CITY – Back in July, we here at Red Dirt Report noted how the radical animal-rights organization People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had blood on their hands no thanks to their decision to kill 95 percent of the dogs and cats put in their care in 2008.

PETA found homes for less than one out of every 300 animals at their so-called “shelters.” PETA loves animals, right? It’s not looking that way. Just check out the informative website Petakillsanimals.com for more information.

And now, thanks to a great column from Rowan Scarborough over at Human Events, headlined “PETA becomes a corporate animal,” we see that PETA once again fails to practice what it preaches.

Writes Scarborough: “In one case, PETA castigates a credit card company for backing a circus; yet PETA promotes its competitor who sponsors horse racing and beef eating – two PETA no-nos it is trying to abolish.”

Scarborough notes that PETA has a “special relationship” with VISA credit-card company. And yet, VISA “is a prime sponsor of the Kentucky Derby, the world’s most famous horserace.”

Like the other special “Rights” orgs PETA is not about animals. Animals are only the excuse for their existence. Their goal and Ideal is Totalitarian Socialism. Animals are useful tools but when they get inconvenient they are killed just as they believe inconvenient people should be.

Some day there will be a great backlash against all of these so called “environmentalists” and they will be rounded up, tried for crimes against humanity and executed. I eagerly await that day.

I think a lot of PETA members don’t really love animals all that much, it’s more about them hating people.

A lot of them don’t even know what the organization really represents. They get children while they are very young, and the kids just believe they’re a part of something good, to help animals. They don’t know about their terrorist escapades, their greed, their cover-ups, and their murders.

Extremist organizations all seem to be about hate. Sad.

Last week I was in NY state and heard of the following assinine demand from PETA...

PETA wants the name of the town of Fishkill changed...

PETA is not long on research or homework...

kill is a Dutch word for creek...

There were some folk named Fish in that area long ago..
