In honor of Kelly Ann Walz, bear dope.

I feel sorry for the family of Kelly Ann Walz for what happened. Kelly Ann Walz of Ross Township, PA, has been the victim of an unfortunate accident. Walz and her husband kept a pet black bear, and while cleaning the enclosure that housed the bear, it attacked her and she died from her injuries. The bear was put down. Fatalities from bear attacks are typically fewer than 10 in North America per year. (Lightning kills almost 100 people per year in the United States alone.) People are warned against keeping exotic pets, especially larger carnivores, for a reason. Let's hope the family of Kelly Ann Walz can find some peace, and the rest of you – please use quick cash to get a pet like a dog.
