"Every family that converts into a different religion takes a new identity by condemning their old faith. "By making anti-Israeli statements he is trying to shed any suspicions about his Jewish connections. He feels vulnerable in a radical Shia society." A London-based expert on Iranian Jewry said that "jian" ending to the name specifically showed the family had been practising Jews. "He has changed his name for religious reasons, or at least his parents had," said the Iranian-born Jew living in London. "Sabourjian is well known Jewish name in Iran." Ahmadinejad may be against Christ, but there is nothing about him that could deceive the majority of the inhabitants of this earth that he is Christ. See the 'anti' means 'instead of' Christ. And the instead of Christ is coming here first to 'save' people to death...

Kindred, I highly doubt Ahmadinejad is the Anti-Christ. One important thing is that the Jewish people will see the Anti-Christ as their long awaited messiah, and I don’t think ANYONE - especially Israelis - could EVER be convinced that Ahmadinejad fits the bill!
You are right though — the Anti-Christ will basically HAVE to be a Jew by birth if he is to deceive Israel as their messiah, the Torah requires that as one of the *signs* if I’m not mistaken...
Back to the article though — this makes so much sense from a psychological point of view... I think it’s also interesting that his family has made statements that the reason for the change was religious as well as ECONOMIC!
Under Sharia law (well, the basic version) all non-Muslims would have to pay *extra* taxes or favor to the ruling Muslims... I wonder if Ahmadinejad’s father REALLY converted, or if he secretly held onto his beliefs in order to make his family safer and more secure. What a shame if that is the story behind this... Not only did he betray his own faith and his ancestors (and God) by converting, but he CREATED this monster in the process...

I agree... It’s like I said a while back - Obama is a perfect object lesson in how easily the world’s people will be deceived by the true anti-Christ. If Obama had people this wrapped up in “hope” can you even IMAGINE what the true Anti-Christ will be able to do? What a scary, scary thought, eh?

As for Ahmadenijad, he’s being played for a sucker. Because if things go wrong on his watch, the Mullahs can blame the Jews for it and thereby hold on to power, calling him an agent of world jooory. Stalin did the same thing with collectivisation in the Ukraine. He had Jews doing all the dirty work that brought about mass starvation and death, and when Hitler over-ran the Ukraine, guess whom the local peasantry cheerfully turned over to the Nazis.
