The video in question, a showdown match between Juan Williams and Karl Rove. Past the popcorn around!

It started innocently enough. Karl Rove explains it’s not the Olympic fiasco that is hurting Obama … it’s not even this month’s unemployment rate, it’s Obama’s overall handling of the economy.

Juan steps in it when he accuses Rove and the Bush administration of doing nothing to stop the financial meltdown and that’s when Rove explodes. Let the games begin!

I saw that - and it was great. Just like the old days on the Brit Hume Show, when Brit’s lips would tighten while Juan was spouting some liberal revisionist history, and then Brit would let loose and smack him with a whole bunch of “inconvenient facts.” It was great fun.

Yes, and Juan did a great job all that program pushing buttons on all his guest. Juan is such a mild mannered guy I did not think he has it in him. I really enjoyed him sitting in for O’Reilly.

Karl hit him with the facts, and Juan doesn't know how to deal with it.

He keeps defending Zero, who has created this mess with his bailouts and refusal to take action on Fannie May and Freddie Mac.

I like Juan, he’s a liberal on his way to being reformed, but against Rove he was unarmed!

"I like Juan, he’s a liberal on his way to being reformed, but against Rove he was unarmed!"

Juan Williams might be a great guy, but does anyone believe that, absent affirmative action and racial politics, he could be a first line journalist on merit alone?

Compared to Charlie Gibson, Gregory, Couric, Williams, etc.?

Definitely.

That was such a funny exchange and Juan came out on the short end once again as he has a hard time refuting facts. Rove has that twinkle back in his eye that has been missing for awhile. He was a having a blast with this exchange and a chance to get the truth out.

I saw it, Rove did a great job of feeding Juan his lunch.

You have to wonder when these people who continue to defend Zero will ever actually come to their senses?

I think Rove heard “Bush’s fault” one time to many and popped a cork and let it all tumble out... was great TV moment.
