The 2010 U.S. Senate race in Delaware is all about the candidates who haven’t decided whether to run yet.

The first Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 survey in the state finds that longtime Republican Congressman Mike Castle beats state Attorney General Beau Biden by five points – 47% to 42% - in a hypothetical match-up for the seat Biden’s father held for 36 years. Five percent (5%) like some other candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided.

Beau probably is not smarter than his dad. A chip off the old block(head).

The voters of Delaware are evenly split on Obama’s Health Care plan, which says much about the politics of the state. Mike Castle is nothing great, but he’ll put this seat in the “R” column if he runs.

I stopped buying and renting movies so I can donate to opponents, and help break up the ‘good ol boy’ network. And buy books like Governor Palin’s, Glenn Beck, etc...

Castle vs Biden. Might as well be Democrat primary.

Will Castle bring Larry back to Delaware (this time NOT via extradition) to campaign for him?

If Biden held the seat for 36 years and then his son holds it for another 35 or so years, this seat will be in Biden hands for 3/4’s of a century. Almost a century of dim bulbs. Nothing like primogeniture for public office.

Nice to see someone putting their money where their mouth is. Most people are too busy watching ball games and cheering for their college team like zombies while the country goes down the tubes. NASCAR fans cheering govt motors cars and chryslers.

Doctors are about to lose their careers if ObamaCare passes. I wonder how many of them got their checkbooks out?

For Delaware to brag about being the first State into the republic, they've certainly turned into a bunch of doofuses who want to become slaves to the government once again.

So sad to see how this country has evolved since the Progressive movement ideas were first implemented during the T. Roosevelt years.

Yup. Castle got a very liberal 28 from the ACU in ‘08 (he got an ultraliberal 20 in ‘07). Even if he wins (and he’ll be 71 next year), he’d likely last a single term before being replaced by another rodent who voted scarcely different than he. Either offer a substantive difference or what the hell is the point ? If they’re going to push a Socialist agenda, let the Democrat own it. I don’t want the GOP tarnished with that failed crap.

Wasn’t there some sort of connection between Beau Biden and Larry Sinclair?

Sinclair claimed that Beau Biden prosecuted him to protect Obama. I’m not aware of anything else.
