You are understating the facts in the case.
After having given her qualudes and vodka, Polanski coaxed the girl into removing her bikini bottom during a topless “shoot” and coaxed her into a hot tub. Once she was in the hot tub he disrobed and entered himself. He began to fondle her, and she got out and went into a bedroom. He followed her in and persisted dispite her pleas for him to stop. He asked her if she was on the pill and when she failed to respond he asked her when she last had her period. When she still failed to respond, he sodomized her anally, despite her pleas for him to stop.
I await Ms. Goldberg’s explanation of what exactly would constitute rape, if this doesn’t.
Rape is something Whoopi will never have to worry about.
