RedEye social media intern Ernest Wilkins was on the scene.

What is there to say, but, hahahahahah. The whole world views obama as a loser and they’re not ready to give up any money to the US which has stabbed Europe in the back for the last time(I hope) while obamanation rules the US.
can we see the video when RIO won?

Comedy Gold! Mmmm,mmmm,mmmm.
“The most hilarious thing I’ve read so far is from the CBS, which blamed this another Obamas fiasco on lack of American standing in the Olympic community due to US boycott of the Olympic Games in Moscow in 1980. “
Makes it tough to explain LA, Atlanta, and SLC.
“Yes! Yes! Oh let me taste your tears! Oh, the tears of unfathomable sadness! Mmm-yummy! Mmm-yummy.”
Even Carter knew to do that with Israel/Egypt. Could O Bama be even more inept than O Peanut?
Things that make you go mmm, mmm, mmm.

CARTER’S FAULT!!!!!!!!!!
And the Russians boycotting LA in ‘84 ...
“REAGAN’S FAULT!!!!!”
McDonalds is probably still crying over all the money lost on their promotion that year since the USA won gold in a ton of events.
I guess someone else kicked the field goal, eh?
I guess ACORN couldn’t help Zero steal this election.
No, the funniest thing will be what we don’t know — how many corrupt Chicago politicians secretly bought land through nominees or relatives on or near planned Olympic sites in the hope of making an illicit fortune. Now the values are a bit more realistic, eh? Ha, Ha, Ha.
That video gave me vertigo ...
I too, like CBS, blame Jimmy Carter
Usually the president only shows up for the signing photo op AFTER the agreement has been reached.
He obviously thought he was going to win. Either he was double-crossed, played like a sucka, or those speeches he and Michelle gave convinced a whole lot of people to vote Rio
Thank YOU//WOW I want to go to RIO!!!
Think they need a nurse?
Good day to be alive!
LoL!
You are very welcome. Rio is looking real good!
Why would the well oiled Obama machine allow the president to publicly fail? Usually the president only shows up for the signing photo op AFTER the agreement has been reached.”
Feeling pretty smug here- I predicted Rio, and everyone said- NObama would not have gone if it wasn’t a done deal.
I contend that his trip was a Hail Mary pass.
It failed, and time ran out on the game.
Favre is a much better quarterback......
Love dat photoshop! Perfect for the current occassion.
Awesome
Two things I noticed about that video:
1. There were a bunch of women in front of the camera wearing hijabs. Diversity, baby.
2. As soon as the announcement was made that Chicago was eliminated, the feed was interrupted—somebody pulled the plug like a child having a tantrum! Listen and you’ll hear the IOC guy’s voice keep repeating over and over while they’re trying to get the video feed back up.
Deep-dish schadenfreude. Mmmmmmmm, tasty.

Best one yet!
Looks like alot of mouth breathers in that pic.

Two seconds after the announcement.
Moving the President and his entourage to Copenhagen - 7 million dollars, Michelle’s new Versace outfit - 25 thousand dollars, Potato chips and Twinkies for Oprah - 4.8 trillion dollars, Watching them get their buts handed to them by Rio’s Olympic committee - FREAKIN PRICELESS!!!!!!
I am so glad Hussein/Chicago lost it. We don’t need for Hussein to have even this as a “triumph” for his presidency come November 2010.
Because Mr. and Mrs. Zero owed an all out effort to Valerie Jarett and Axelrod, et al whose former firms had so much riding on ringing the Olympics to Chi Town. Locals say it was all about Daley.
Here it is in a nushell, thanks to Michelle Malkin:

And they say it was “for the kids” and “an economic benefit for America”. Bull.
More personal greed and politics as usual at the expense of the U.S. taxpayers. Anyone get a good estimate on how many millions this boondoggle cost us taxpayers?
Hubris (/hjuËbrɪs/) (ancient Greek ὕβρις) is a term used in modern English to indicate overweening pride, haughtiness, or arrogance, often resulting in fatal retribution or Nemesis. In ancient Greece, hubris referred to actions which, intentionally or not, shamed and humiliated the victim, and frequently the perpetrator as well. It was most evident in the public and private actions of the powerful and rich. The word was also used to describe actions of those who challenged the gods or their laws, especially in Greek tragedy, resulting in the protagonist's downfall.
Hubris, though not specifically defined, was a legal term and was considered a crime in classical Athens. It was also considered the greatest sin of the ancient Greek world.
This is definately a big blow - you know they already had big plans for the money they were going to scam and steal.
Obama and his Chicago thug cronies will have to come up with some other scam to screw taxpayers out of $5 or $10 billion to line the pockets of his pals.
.
LOL! I hope you all read some of AP’s early reports, they made it sound like the Hindenburg caught fire.
I vaguely remember Obama the candidate predicting how sweet it would be to host the Olympics as he cruised to the end of his second presidential term. LOL! One down, one to go!
Oh, the humanity!
the whole city of Chicago must be on drugs to even think they had a chance at getting the game
LOL (your edit)!
I think the award of the Olympic Games to Chicago would have cause a lot of stress eventually to the "little guy. " Olympics are murder on neighborhoods that do not have clout and power. Vancouver, Canada has the Winter Olympics for 2010. People are getting hurt by draconian methods to put on a clean happy face already. The druggies and losers getting free accomodation to get them "off the streets"- moving them into neighborhoods who have no real say.
I congratulate the crowd in Chicago on their demeanor following their cities rejection. They did show a bit of class- I am sincere in this.
Flame retardant gear on.
