You're welcome!

FWIW, I plan to call in -- not to TALK, but to LISTEN...

I am currently behind a firewall that prevents access to streaming audio. :(
...but they haven't found a way (yet) to block my cell phone!

Roman Polanski Has a Lot of Friends

If a rapist escapes justice for long enough, should the world hand him a get-out-of-jail-free card? If you're Roman Polanski, world-famous director, a lot of famous and gifted people think the answer is yes.

Polanski, who drugged and anally raped a thirteen-year-old girl in 1977 in Los Angeles, pled guilty to the lesser charge of unlawful sex with a minor and fled to Europe before sentencing.

Now, 32 years later, he's been arrested in Switzerland on his way to the Zurich film Festival, prompting outrage from international culture stars: Salman Rushdie, Milan Kundera, Martin Scorsese, Pedro Almodavar, Woody Allen (insert your own joke here), Isabelle Huppert, Diane von Furstenberg and many, many more. Bernard-Henri Levy, who's taken a leading role in rounding up support, has said that Polanski "perhaps had committed a youthful error " (he was 43).

Debra Winger, president of the Zurich Film Festival jury, wearing a red "Free Polanski" badge, called the Swiss authorities action "philistine collusion."

Frederic Mitterand, the French cultural minister, said it showed "the scary side of America" and described Polanski as "thrown to the lions because of ancient history." French foreign minister Bernard Kouchner, co-founder of Doctors Without Borders, called the whole thing "sinister..."

Me, too - if it was actually recorded.
I think the George Soros might be responsible for this attempted disruption.

"We don’t think that it’s YOU."

Well Ron, I am usually the last to know.
The mea culpa fit-in, nicely incidentally, with "the story of my life.". LOL

Seriously, is this a "radio broadcast" visa vi the Internet, or, scrolling text?

What a total bummer. I've been plagued with technical difficulties all day... and the show didn't record. (Loose wire that no one saw. Earlier my whole internet and phone was out and I had someone come out and replace the system just in time.)

But I thought it was going great, lol. Just damn.

My promise? Next week the show will be twice as good. And I have a great guest booked... AlfonZo Rachel.

xoxo

Yes, it most certainly is Anna.

"I've been plagued with technical difficulties all day...and the show didn't record. (Loose wire that no one saw. Earlier my whole internet and phone was out and I had someone come out and replace the system just in time.)"

Can'tcha just tell it'll be a full moon, Sunday? LOL

"But I thought it was going great, lol. Just damn."

Now hold-on partner, isn't it "dayum" in Texas?
[I know-I know, a "Grammar Cop" I'm not. :^) ]

"My promise? Next week the show will be twice as good. And I have a great guest booked... AlfonZo Rachel."

Great, can't wait.
But...is it actual audio, or just scrolling text?
IF it's scrolling text then it was working.
Just that I'm thinking *radio*. Can hear with ears, y'know?
Old fashioned, huh. ;^)

"xoxo"

OMG... {blushing like a knock-kneed schoolboy}

Hey Anna, have you noticed that Mr. Dunham has a tendency to not salute the female Marines when he gets on or off Marine One?
Perhaps it's just me or it's just a rare occurrence.

My promise?

Next week the show will be twice as good.

And I have a great guest booked... AlfonZo Rachel.

Thant would be, from www.machosauceproductions.com:

Macho Sauce Productions was founded by AlfonZo Rachel. Rachel, born 7.8.1972 on Grissom AFB Indiana, has been in SoCal since diaperhood. Another kid whose mother raised him alone, lived in hard spots such as Delman Heights in San Bernardino, Rachel’s mom wanted to get him out of the hood, and the hood out of him. So, they moved into a low income housing area just outside of Palm Springs.

Rachel also has three older sisters who, during those times, more often stayed with other family members. The move was a culture shock for Rachel, as he was now going to school with privileged rich white kids. Rachel kept a chip on his shoulder, and didn’t try to fit in. Instead, he immersed himself in music, and psychotropic drugs. This formula cost Rachel his graduation. It was a sobering failure, and Rachel stopped using drugs. Rachel’s pursuit of music led him to Venice Beach. There he wandered through Ghost town trying to keep the music together, and floated through Hollywood, still falling short of his musical aspirations.

Rachel came back to the Palm Springs area to continue his martial arts training and education. He made a new flame out of an old one, married her, and opened his own martial arts school. The school left them broke after two years and he closed it down.

Realizing that he used his gifts for his own satisfaction, Rachel now uses his talents to satisfy the Giver. Rachel’s work since coming to Christ has gained positive feedback from Ann Coulter, Michelle Malkin, and Mark Levin.
