...he got to sell? I thought most of these guys were forced off with violence and NO offering.
That’s if they didn’t “sell” at some ridiculously low price. Jews in Germany “sold” their businesses to Germans just before being deported to Auschwitz. It is amazing how dictatorial regimes still go through the motions of “law and order.”
