Joy Behar broke out the big guns for the premiere of her new CNN interview show: Ann Coulter. The two sparred over the so-called “death panels” and Sarah Palin’s level of coherence before finding common ground: The UN should be moved to Libya. Highlights:
* Sarah Palin “got audiences bigger than Obama,” Coulter said. “Well, she’s prettier,” Behar retorted. “She’s more coherent,” Coulter said, but Behar shut her down: “The woman cannot construct a sentence. Nobody understands what she’s talking about.”
* “The government was paying doctors to have the ‘end of life discussion’ with old people,” Coulter said. “If you’re paying doctors, you’re giving them incentive to have the chit-chat. Democrats were embarrassed enough that they pulled it from the bill—and all because of one little Twitter by Sarah Palin. That’s a powerful woman.”
* What about all those clothes Palin got during the campaign? “She never had them. She was wearing them on loan,” Coulter said, blaming the information leak on a jealous John McCain. Watch the video at left.
Giving these morons their own shows insures that very few people will see their idiotic diatribes.
I never understood the big deal about the clothes. The RNC spent 150K of private money on some clothes for her and her family to look good. In terms of the hundreds of millions spent on the campaign it was nothing. 0 taxpayer dollars. How much did the DNC spend on Obama’s “set” at Invesco Field?
In the 1st 24 hrs after her announcement McCain and the RNC raked in 7M+, a record amount by far. If they wanted to take 1/70 of that for some clothes, who cares?
Meanwhile, he’s spending upwards of 10M of taxpayer dollars to fly out and back to Denmark so his cronies in Chicago can rake in the cash. Who knows how much to go up to NY for date night? Etc...
Because they like low ratings?
Ann should have asked Joy to ask Whoopi about rape-rape.
I find her repulsive as well but I have to give her props for having Coulter on the show. Chickens**t Olbermann would never do such a thing.
behar only wanted coulter on her show for the ratings boost. ann coulter draws a crowd no matter where she is.

Coulter has the power to popeil Behar into to a gelatinous mass of crap. Why does she hold back?

I enjoy reading Ann Coulter's books & her weekly articles, but in all honesty she stinks as a conservative pundit when going head to head with liberal idiot commentators, whether it is Joy Behar, Matt Lauer, etc.
C'mon Ann, the quick retort to the ridiculous question above about Sarah Palin's clothes should NOT have been to deflect it over to John McCain (and I am not a McLame supporter by any means) but Ann should have used any of dozens of examples of 0bama screwing the American public with his $170M messiah-coronation, his $350,000 date nights with ugly maBelle Michelle, the Wednesday night WH cocktail parties with $100/lb Kobe beef flown it, AF 1 fly-bys over NYC, weekend jaunts EVERY weekend somewhere with his 3-500 person entourage, maBelle Michelle flying with her entourage to Denmark, followed by 0bozoe flying with his entourage to Denmark, what about maBelle Michelle's ugly wardrobe-who pays for that, etc, etc.
Instead Ann gets stupid & snarky instead of attacking quickly & with deadly accuracy the demoRATs hypocrisies. Michelle Maulkin or Laura Ingram & especially Megyn Kelly do a whole better than Ann Coulter when taking on the liberal idiot commentators.

I personally think CNN has lost it’s mind. While the coutry is clearly leaning conservative theyare going full speed ahead with the liberal rants whose audience shinks by the day? Makes no sense at all.

I saw a picture of a frumpy hippy black woman wearing some hideous floral shorts..trotting herself across a lawn and I couldn’t figure out why freerepublic would be running this photo..it took a few minutes to realize this was our first “lady”. I swear it looked like she had just come from Sally Ann’s “dollar a bag” sale.
They are looking to go where no network has dared go before ... Into negative ratings!

She is not much of a First Lady, easily the worst in my lifetime, why don’t we leave it there.

I wish the media would leave it there. I'd like to hear less about her shopping trips and a little more about what the governement is doing with our tax money.
