Evidently the entire country, including the White House, misunderstood what he meant by “intensely demonstrated” when he said, “I think an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American.” That’s the money quote from the interview that aired on NBC on September 15 — just six days after Joe Wilson’s outburst and three days after the 9/12 Project’s massive rally in D.C. Compare and contrast the before and after below. I wonder which Obama aide was tasked with dialing him up and insisting upon this highly nuanced bit of revisionism. Rahm, you think? Or is this an Axelrod special?

I’ve seen this behavior recently when discussing an issue with a lib.
When I quoted her exact words she first denied saying that, then said I was putting words in her mouth by quoting exactly what she said.
We laughed about it and said that I guess 0bama and Van Jones were “taken out of context” when their entire speeches were played revealing their positions on issues like communism and infanticide. (the reply was “yes”)
“Besides, it helped fertilize it.”
It’s not what they said, it’s what they really meant to say. And actually it’s not what they really meant to say at the time, but what they really meant to say later, when what they said no longer applies.
And you should see the frustrated fury when the question was asked “well then what DID you mean when you said [...]”.

Went to visit Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota in 1978. Someone told us hurry you only have 10 minutes or so until the lights went out "to save electricity". We ran from the parking lot at 10 minutes until midnight and got to the area where we could see the monument. I was just about to take a picture when . . . click, the lights went out. In 1984 I went back and took all the pictures I wanted, but in 78 we didn't have time to stay.
That is just one memory of this idiot. Of course every year we got another reminder when the fiscal year budget was usually late. Fortunately for me, my military check went to the bank, but more than once the soldiers who had a check cut had to wait a few days for their checks in October.

YIKES! That almost looks like an electrical engineer I used to work around. Dude did nothing but bash Bush and certain corporate executives (one of which was the CEO of a certain energy company which was a primary client), Republicans, Texans, and the like. He cheered when the stock market crashed, that it would hurt all the rich people. No one should live in a house more than 1200 square feet. Typical Minnesota liberal idiot (am I being redundant?)!
