Documentary film director Michael Moore, who has become a millionaire thanks to the profits from his movies, told CNSNews.com that “capitalism did nothing” for him.
CNSNews.com spoke with Moore on the red carpet at the Uptown Theatre in Washington, D.C., on Tuesday night before the premiere of his upcoming documentary, “Capitalism: A Love Story."
CNSNews.com asked: “Critics may say, when they see this movie, Michael Moore has amassed a fortune of over $50 million, some have said and –”
Moore said: “Really? Are you kidding me? Seriously? Wow. Where did it go?”

Actually his documentaries have made him wealthy. Lots of people go to his movies. Many of these same people are also very well off. I think they're called liberals. And none of them can see the hypocrisy in trashing a system that has made them wealthy either.
Did this traitor ever do a mea culpa and beg forgiveness for pledging his support for the enemy in a time of war? He insisted that “they WILL win” and that America deserved to see our boys bloodied and returning home with our collective tail between our legs, begging for forgiveness on the world stage.
We won.
....with quotes like this to work with, is it any wonder FOX and Limbaugh are putting up sky rocketing numbers?

Yeah Moore - it requires HARD WORK to get financed and produce and direct a film. It’s extrenely COMPETITIVE. Even more, it’s MOST DIFFICULT if your films are extremely socialist oriented because execs expect NOBODY WILL WANT TO SEE THEM!
As far as I can tell, they are making a distinction that intentionally muddies things. The first thing I would point out is that "capitalism" is a term invented by Karl Marx and used for purposes of criticizing market systems (because communism is the far superior choice [/s]).
I think Moore says that he likes the free market, that he makes a product that people want, that people buy his product and that he makes money, and this is all good and he supports such a system.
I think Moore would say that Capitalism is rule by rich people who hold vast wealth and who rule the world and have unfair advantages. This is unfair and ought to be replaced by a political elite who maintain central control of all economic decisions and manage markets in ways which benefit the state, and thus, the people as a whole, through a system of "social justice".
If this is, in fact, Moore's vision, then I think he is engaging in "projection" -- he sees our current system of (relative) freedom of individual choice and he interprets that as a quasi dictatorship by the rich. He proposes to replace a market system based on individual freedom of choice with an explicitly dictatorial system based on government control.

Is he insinuating that instead of this being his own project, that the government funded it and told him what to do, thereby making this a government propoganda film?
That isn’t why he despises capitalism.
He despises it because it allows the serfs to enjoy a lifestyle similar to his own. He wants everyone else to live in misery and see him in his “rightful place” of superiority.
You think that is bad. Gees. I’m dealing with my nephew who now says that education and health care are essential to the advancement of human society. Therefore, since these two things are essential they cannot come with a price tag or be a victim of underfunding, social class or profit gains. He says that it has to be profit neutral that functions without the pursuit of business.
See what our educational system is churning out? He actually believes this utopian crap. Are we are surprised when someone like Micheal Moore pops up?

Actually he stated that he wasn’t making an arguement for Obamas healthcare plan or the democrats but he said that “it is important and essential because the root of what is essential for us to continue the evolutionary process of the human experience. Therefore, if it is essential it can’t come with a price tag.”
Hows that? Barf. I asked him if he had ever read “Atlas Shrugged”.

No Michael....under your ideal system you have the responsibility to simply GIVE AWAY your vast fortune except that which you NEED to survive...anything you keep beyond what the PEOPLE decide you need qualifies you as GREEDY, having more than you really need, etc. You do not simply get to keep your millions and millions of dollars while spending your time in a way that YOU think will “help” people. JUST HAND OVER YOUR WEALTH YOU GREEDY PIG...under your ideal system that is...now under capitalism...yes, you get to spend your money and your time in a way that YOU think you should.

Moore says capitalism didn’t do a thing for him and Disney tried to block him, etc. Again the people on the left simply can NOT make CONCEPTS. They jump from thought to thought without connections. He completely dismisses the reality that Disney didn’t just appear out of nowhere. It was a man with an idea and a talent who had to work himself. Disney as we know it evolved from one person who also had to go it alone at least as much as Moore did. He also ignores the entire structure which makes his success possible...that is to say people who have comfortable enough lives to spend money on things like movies and books rather than spending every second of their lives trying to just figure out how to eat. He really doesn’t see it...does not see that capitalism is exactly what made his success possible. He takes for granted the structure which supports all else and, like all narcissists, sees the world starting on the day that HE was born. Young people can be straightened out on these things. The positive self-esteem movement, as well-intended as it was, has created a narcissistic culture.

Don't be fooled by his claim to be from the working-class town of Flint, Mich., he writes.
Don't be fooled by his various claims to have made no more than $19,000 a year, $15,000 a year or $12,000 a year before his first hit, "Roger & Me," the author says.
In fact, Moore didn't even grow up in Flint, but rather nearby Davison. His father was not the working stiff struggling to make ends meet that he portrays, but a General Motors employee who worked from 6 a.m. until 2 p.m. and played golf every afternoon at a private country club and who had four weeks of paid vacation and retired comfortably at the age of 53.
Before "Roger & Me" hit it big in 1989, Moore had already received an advance from a New York publisher for $50,000, another $50,000 from Mother Jones magazine upon termination as an editor and a $20,000 grant from Ralph Nader. After "Roger & Me," he became fabulously wealthy by nearly any standard.
When Moore flew to London to be interviewed by the BBC or to promote a film, he flew the Concorde and stayed at the Ritz. But, according to the book, he would also keep a room at a cheap hotel down the street where he would meet with journalists to maintain his image as a "man of humble circumstances."
His 10-acre, waterfront home today is on Michigan's Torch Lake, one of the three most beautiful lakes in the world, according to National Geographic. He was accused by authorities of despoiling a wetland – just like many of the greedy, robber-baron land-grabbers he criticizes – when he tried to expand his private beach……………………………………………”
