Guaranteed the ‘King’ will declare martial law, suspend the Constitution, then amend it via Congressional approval (unconstitutional) using the War Powers Act or some other ruse and we have our dictator for life hoisting the red flag over the Castle...

Our founding fathers realized we needed the 2nd amendment against oppressive government. The 2nd will never be gone, no judge or court will lend credence to it, and is the meat of the constitution. Perhaps the 2nd should have been the first; without the second, the first is in jeopardy. Why do you think ammo sales and gun sales have been a boon this past year? My kid, during basic training had to clean the drill sargeant’s ‘room’. There was a wall of presidental photos, it went from Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush, Bush. Yes, you figured it out. And I’m sure 44 will be missing in many rooms. Our military has their special way of protesting.
Hell, at this point I even miss Clinton.
