It felt like someone was inside my brain, saying everything that I have been thinking. Susan, of course, spoke much better than I ever could have, but truly she represents the thoughts and beliefs of many, many Americans. I applaud her.

Rush has a great crew.
He admired her for being able to sum things up in less than ten minutes, without a stutter, stammer, notes, or teleprompter.

The problem being, of course, that calling in to Rush is preaching to the choir.
The question is, how to get the message out to folks who don't listen to Rush (i.e., most people, especially including the ones in the middle whom we need to reach).

She was phenomenal and was held over through 3 segments.
I LOVED the crack that she was speaking everything from her heart as opposed to from a teleprompter, having speech writers, staffers, focus groups and polling.
The arguments now don’t even require PR or spin. You’re either for freedom or you’re for a cradle to grave government that is in every single aspect of your life.
I got into this argument with a single woman I went out with a week ago and she was just DUMBFOUNDED that I could be a nice guy, a gentleman, polite and respectful and then hated Obama’s policies and everything the Democratic party stood for from A-Z. It’s actually pretty frightening to me that we’re so divided politically and ideologically that you can think someone is absolutely wonderful until politics come up.
I think that’s one of the things about this call that so rang home with me. We really are to the point where even casual political supporters are in full agreement with redistribution and control and it’s not just their leadership doing political posturing for radical constituency groups. This sense of hopelessness on the parts of the producers and entitlement of the leeches that are going to lead to a powder keg that electoral shifts will no longer be able to correct.

She - the caller - has a law degree but left her job to stay home and raise her SEVEN CHILDREN, a higher calling she said...pretty cool.

This woman basically reflects exacly what many, many Americans are saying and feeling. I fear a powder-keg is brewing as the sheer frustration shown by this woman is spreading and deepening.

I couln't believe Rush let her go on and on repeating herself as she did. I had a 2:30 appointment so I had to turn it off before Rush got rid of her. (He did get rid of her, didn't he? Or he going to continue with her at noon tomorrow?)
Remember when Rush used to believe that brevity was the soul of wit?

As long as it remains a political powder keg I say Good. We need lots and lots more people on our side. And if the left continues into darker and darker tyranny then any kind of powder keg will do.
But I believe that we can solve this politically and I think Rush and Glenn and Sarah do, too.

I believe if you look at the options, there are only 2 non-violent ones.
Everyone will tell you to vote the bums out work through the party....Yada...Yada...Yada
I believe the time has come for non-violent civil disobedience the kind that the left used on us back in the Vietnam War days and the Civil Rights days. While it was going on, to me it did not really seem like it was doing anything, probably because I was not paying attention.
But now looking back on those acts of disobedience, they are part of the reason we are in this mess today. So, it can be an effective tool.

I’ll be honest, I don’t care for the demeanor of the call. I just won’t like to hear someone frantically relating their thoughts even if I agree with them.
I tuned her out for the most part, when listening with the show.
She did hit the important points, and I’m sure there were lots of women out there listening that this really touched.

Rush is a great professional and knew exactly how to handle her....too bad you missed the best part!!
She said everything that I feel and have felt. She brought me to tears, I am angry, I can’t remember when I’ve been so angry. I live in the state of Washington, and we have Patty Murray and Marie Cantwell, two of the biggest two face hypocrites I have ever come across. They will tell you that they know what’s better for us. You can’t get through to them personally. They have no desires to talk to any of us. I’ve tried. All you get is we will give xxxx your message and in return you get a form letter.
Please someone out there tell us what we can do to stop them before it is to late.

You could just tell that Rush knew that he had caught lightning in a bottle, and that he was going to let her go on uninterrupted.
She ask him what WE the little people could do to help stop this path we’re on.
