Earlier this month and despite the public scrutiny over the voter fraud and felony criminal activity associated with ACORN, the Department of Homeland Security went ahead and granted $997,402 to ACORN under the FY 2008 Fire Prevention and Safety Program.
To most people, the timing and the amount of the grant would seem off base, but when you take into account the fact that DHS awarded ACORN–an organization with no clear expertise in fire safety and prevention–a fire prevention and safety grant, it’s just plain offensive.

It would fit right in line with the advise they give on home loan application lies, tax fraud and evasion, and voter fraud. They probably already have the pamphlet printed up... "Burning Down the Ho-House".

So who donated the money to FEMA? What was FEMA promised from who? Why would FEMA give ACORN money they themselves desperately need?

Right. Anything and everything in the ‘name’ of Katrina. Why not manipulate human suffering for politics...why not? Pres. Bush got completely and unfairly slammed there (look at the complete disregard on the formerly MSM coverage of the Mayor of NO and the LA state officials recalcitrance there) and now the FMSM is not covering this utter manipulation of Katrina and the poor by ACORN/COI, et al.
This is the Democrat machine in this country in a nutshell -screaming guilt trips about the poor and utter and complete unaccountability, while they sickly engorge themselves on the ‘cause of the poor’. It’s one of the sickest manipulations you can imagine and ranks up there with people showing old pictures of starving kids from 20 years ago so people will send them money.
Look at Wade Rathke’s beneficient work with the organization setup ostensibly to ‘help the poor.’ $1M of embezzlement later, how many others have been on that gravy train? When the Democrat party and their front orgs like ACORN/COI and web of affiliated groups are SO COMPLETELY unaccountable, is it any wonder we don’t believe in their protestations of innocence or their pronouncements of effectiveness (in any matter whatsoever?)
