Contrary to what the Left and their media minions told Americans in 2005 when President George W. Bush wanted to reform Social Security, the nation's largest entitlement program is now projected to run deficits for at least the next two years.
In an article on the subject published Sunday, the Associated Press mysteriously hid the seriousness of this revelation while never once mentioning the Republican push to solve this problem four years ago, or that Democrats in January 2006 -- including Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) -- actually applauded the death of the previous year's reform efforts.

I could be wrong but this is what I think is really behind this great big push to force government run health care down out throats. Nothing could come closer to the holy grail for dems then their hero’s social security system.
If they can get control of our health care, they can just turn down people who need life saving treatment, and then they don’t have to pay them back all that money they paid into medicare, medicaid and social security. And what do you know, social security saved!

Could we PLEASE just admit our coutnry is flat broke, defund EVERY ‘government program’ since, say, 1939, have our blood in the streets, cities burned to the ground, etc.
