The Big Islamic Fizzle
Event Shunned by CAIR

The organizers of the event proclaimed: “Our time has come!”
Well, their time has come and gone and the gala celebration on the National Mall turned out to be an embarrassing fizzle.
Hassen Abdallah, one of the key planners of “the Day of Islamic Unity,” proclaimed that over 50,000 Muslims would make their way to DC for the event.
Five hundred buses were secured to transport Muslims throughout the country to the National Mall so that their prayers to Allah would resonate throughout the Lincoln and Washington memorials and the joint halls of Congress.
But less than 3,000 showed up for the gala and the prayers of the Islamists failed to echo past the scattered concession stands.
“I came here for nothing,” one concessionaire selling halal food said.
Why the failure?
Islamic organizations - - such as the Council for American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America, opted to distance themselves from the gathering after bad publicity appeared concerning Abdallah and several key speakers.
Abdellah served an attorney for an unsavory host of Islamic terrorists. In his defense of Mahmoud Abouhalima, who was charged in the bombing of the World Trade Center, Mr. Abdellah said: “Basically, the Government is going to put on trial the concept of Islamic fundamentalism, to prove that their beliefs are contrary to those of the jury and therefore that they bombed the World Trade Center.”

Look for the National media to report 10s of millions showed up.
Islam teaches compulsion, and stae run religious intolerance...Christ teaches free will, and a love for God that comes from the heart as a matter of free choice, and tolerance for others to believe as they will, but of their need to choose Him of their own free will.
When intolerance and compuslion in these matters are taugh and practised, it is tyranny, plain and simple. They type of tyranny the people who formed this natione scaped...and the tyoe of tyranny that I, as Son of the American Revolution, along with tens of millions of others, will not see dominate this land.
And apparently, most of the muslims in this country are not interested in it either, and were too busy pursuing the American dream that they know full-well is available here...which is why most of them came here to escape the thuggery and tyranny of the Ilsmaics like the guy doing the preaching in DC>

IMO...I think terrorist attacks were going to occur on 9/12, coinciding with the Muslim gathering. But the FBI found out, and arrested some of the perpetrators. Doubt that we will ever hear that though.
Prayers to Allah and to the Easter Bunny are not answered.

For the record, 60,000 Christians had a pray gathering in Times Square the other day.
