Yes, regardless of where he is born he does not meet the natural born requirement. I have researched this and I have thought long and hard and in my opinion the very fact that the constitution says natural born and not just citizen is proof in itself that Obama does not qualify. My thinking follows.
The only reason to require that a person even be a citizen period is that the founders wanted to be certain that the commander in chief bore no allegiance or obligation of any kind to any other country. This should be self evident, if this was not the reason then it would not matter if the president was here on a green card from some other country. It certainly wouldn’t matter if the president happened to be a naturalized citizen as in the case of Schwartzenegger or Kissinger.
If I am correct about the first point then it should be self evident that natural born citizen had to, at the time the constitution was written, have been accepted as a term meaning both parents had to be American citizens. Otherwise it makes no sense whatsoever. To contend as the leftists do in defense of Obama that natural born status only requires one citizen parent becomes an absurdity. Of what value would it be if it meant that the American president at the time of declaring war on Germany could literally have been the son of an American woman but sired by Adolf Hitler. I see no way around this, if anyone can name a flaw in my reaoning please tell me so.
