I’m glad to hear that some of the big names are coming out to support conservatives. (not that Bachman is unknown)
Joe Wilson is going to have a town hall/ Campaign event with Tim Walberg for Michigan’s 7th district.
Bachmann has always been respectful to Ron Paul. I predict Ron will help her as much as possible in her toss up seat
I don’t agree with Ron Paul on some things but he is a true constitutionalist and he gets my respect.

Well he is under the impression that the federal government has no business telling people what they can put in/do to their own bodies. That it should be treated like a medical problem. And that the war on drugs has been used to increase the power of the federal government and used as an excuse to violate people’s liberties.
I’m in agreement on all those points.
Well, I’m not sure why Paul’s party affiliation is GOP. He is clearly a libertarian. While I would certainly prefer a libertarian over a democrat, I’m a conservative republican.
I could reply with the often quoted Reagan comment about libertarianism; but you’ve no doubt heard it before.
I happen to think he is a conservative republican and a libertarian at the same time. He is certainly more republican than some of the other “republicans” in office. But those are all just labels. I’ll just say, I’d like to see another 100 more in office just like him; then we can start debating the finer points party affiliation.
