The father of a seven-year-old girl who discovered from a school dinner lady that his daughter had been bullied has said he wants her dismissal retracted.
Scott David's daughter Chloe was tied to a fence at Great Tey Primary School near Colchester, Essex, and hit with a skipping rope by several boys.
Carol Hill told him details of the bullying after the school had only mentioned "an incident" had occurred.
She was later sacked for breaching confidentiality.

She lets a concerned parent (HIS DAUGHTER BEING THE VICTIM) know what’s going on and gets fired over it? What color is the sky on their planet? Personally, those kids are lucky THEY didn’t get tied to a fence and beaten, but hey, that’s just me.
Every adult at that school that knew of the incident and didn’t tell the parents should be fired, but of course they won’t because they are all government employees.

After several months my sister, who is not much older than my daughter, learned that my daughter was allowed to rest in the infirmary because she didn't feel good. While she was there a male student came in and tried to undress her. My daughter screamed, and ran like Hell to the school office. Evidently my daughter was told not to discuss the incident.
When I learned about this I headed for the school. I was told that "these things happen". They couldn't explain what the boy was doing just roaming around unsupervised.
We tightened our belts and enrolled my daughter in parochial school the very next day.
When the school told my daughter not to discuss the matter they were telling her to be dishonest to her parents. This was more unacceptable than what the male student tried, he was just a kid.
We had bullies in school when I was kid in the 60’s....but never like they are today.
Firing a teacher for letting parents know what happened to their daughter is just disgusting. And I suppose the teacher’s union goes along with this?

Bullying has always existed, but when it is not punished, then it will increase, both quantitatively and qualitively.
