Census employee found hanged in KY & why are they asking those questions?
No Compromise Media ^ | Sept. 24, 2009 | No Compromise Media

Posted on 09/24/2009 1:38:01 PM PDT by Psion

The FBI is investigating the hanging of 51 year old census worker, Robert Sparkman. Sparkman was found hanging in a remote wooded area of west Kentucky in Clay County with the word “FED” scrawled on his chest.

I was reading about this case this morning and of course, the thought came to mind that “right winged” extremists would be blamed for this event. I mean, geez, there is so much hatred for those who oppose the take over of America and “fundamentally transforming” America into a European style Socialist country that, of course, when a dead fed is found that, naturally, it’s the fault of right wingers!

And of course, the Huffpuke aka Huffington Post, reports that,

Investigators are still trying to determine whether the death was a killing or a suicide, and if a killing, whether the motive was related to his government job or to anti-government sentiment.

Apparently, Sparkman was warned to be careful in the hollows of Kentucky.

Gilbert Acciardo, a retired Kentucky state trooper who directs an after-school program at the elementary school where Sparkman was a frequent substitute teacher, said he had warned Sparkman to be careful when he did his Census work.

Folks in these parts aren’t too keen on divulging information about their personal lives. They’ve never been excited about government.

During the American Revolution, the Citizens in the hollows of the South fought a long hard battle to protect their land, and their fierce individuality from government control freaks, and they won battles against the largest standing Army in the world at the time.

Someone murdered this guy. That’s the only facts out there. I know the left will play this up, but keep in mind that an anti-abortion protester was murdered a couple weeks ago and no news agencies anywhere mentioned it. I guess it didn’t fit the MSM’s pre-conceived notions of what is news.

Another possible motive. The guy might have knocked on the wrong door and been suspected of being federal law enforcement posing as a census worker. Maybe he knocked on the door of a guy cooking meth or growing weed.

I had a friend that was murdered years ago in rural Missouri. His body was found with all of his belongings still in his car, including about 5 rifles and 2 handguns. Turned out the main suspect mistakenly thought he was undercover law enforcement. His polite conversation at the counter of a local diner was what got him killed.

I would not be surprised if “Nancy” encouraged this to make us Americans look crazy. Her “boyz” made up the hitler signs at the townhall meetings.

I went back to my old home-town years ago and as I drove through town with a friend, he point out a mutual friend's house. When I suggested that we stop and visit, he said that we had better not because our friend might think we were the FBI or something.

Meth was/is very bad around there. Makes people crazy with paranoia.

He probably meant to write "FED UP" on his chest before he hung himself, but the marker ran out.

Seriously, I keep reading "FED" was "scrawled on his chest" but how? Paint? Marker? On his shirt? On his skin? On a sign?

Folks in these parts aren’t too keen on divulging information about their personal lives.

By law the census doesn't begin until 2010.

Work being performed now is to identify structures and locations where people may be living so they can be counted in 2010.

Census employees now working are not asking personal questions about anyone as they perform their jobs, unless they are doing it on their own. The only questions they are officially authorized to ask have to do with what structures are habitable or to identify other areas or locations where people might be living.

They are not collecting personal information or identifying the names or numbers of people residing at these locations. That information is part of the census itself which will begin and be conducted in 2010.

As I understand it, they are not counting people yet, but are getting ready for next year by verifying addresses and the location of residences.

What kind of dummy applies for a job pounding on the doors of private residences?

Even on a good day, the last thing I want is some strange jackass entering my property, and banging on my door. You'd have to be a fruitcake to do this job.

The Plum LineGreg Sargent’s blog
Suicide Not Ruled Out For Dead Census Worker; He Was In Contact With The Ground
I’ve got some more detail for you on the case of the Bill Sparkman, the U.S. census worker who was found dead of hanging, reportedly with the word “fed” scrawled on his chest:

1) Kentucky state police have not ruled out the possibility that the death was a suicide or even that it was accidental, according to police spokesman Don Trosper.

2) His death has been ruled “asphyxia,” Trosper said in an interview. “There was a rope around his neck. It was attached to a tree,” Trosper continued, adding this intriguing detail: “He was in contact with the ground.”

That raises the possibilty that the cause of death was not hanging. Asked if this were possible, Trosper said: “Nothing is being ruled out.”

3) Trosper said the initial AP story on the death contains “flaws and errors.” That means it’s possible that the AP’s claim, based on an anonymous source, that he had the word “fed” scrawled on his chest could be false. Asked if that were the case, Trosper declined to comment.

So that’s where we are. Much more from Zachary Roth in his very useful rundown on where the case stands.

Yep.
Especially if he was chasing down info on a remote location.
Or he might have just stumbled on something others don't want anyone to know about, like a still, dope patch or drop spot for illegals.
