More clean breaks from McCain can only help her.

Agreed...I'm very happy to see this one. Though I have generally respected McCain's stances on the military I could not understand his position on the F-22, he is looking no further than the end of his nose.

She is definitely not wobbly in any sense.

“McCain voted for the bailouts, and thus ended his run on the WH.”

Yep. Had McCain stood against bailouts, he’d be the president.

Palin broke with McCain in November 2008. The question now is whether he will be following her, because that’s how it’s going to be.

“Palin is not for illegal alien Amnesty, McCain is.”

Really, then why does she insist that McCain/Kennedy Amnesty is the way to go??? She also doesn’t approve of workplace raids to root out illegally working aliens.

[snip] PALIN: “. We - our policy - John McCain has been so clear with his policy and it makes a lot of sense too. We secure our borders first. But then with a comprehensive approach we must deal humanely with those who are here, and we must allow the steps to be taken to protect the families of those who are here, maybe as illegal immigrants today.....”

UNIVISION: “Talking about - still with immigration - ICE has arrested and deported almost five thousand undocumented immigrants in the last year, separated many Hispanic families. Would you support stopping these raids until comprehensive immigration reform could be passed in Congress?”

Palin: “Well, the unfortunate thing of course about the raids is that it does affect the families involved here. Parents and children are separated and that’s tragic.” (No, that is by choice of the alien, Sarah - they can take their kids and we pay for it!)

“Univision: To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
Sarah Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America.”
Univision: As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported?
Sarah Palin: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant - there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants - not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration.”

http://reuters.viewdle.com/video/Palin+addresses+Chavez+and+illegal+immigration+in+first+Spanish+interv...?vid=reuters-3009-USA-PALIN-1224643320.mpg&pid=1061d1c341ca60d466cf2db77ea52811

Now we find out that SarahPac has donated only to candidates who are for amnesty....like John McCain, Lindsey Graham, Orrin Hatch, etc. Sarah came out strongly against Obamacare, but never objected to the fact that illegal aliens would get the benefits.

She isn’t? Why?

And Obama was? “I” had move foreign policy experience than Obama.

WRT McCain, serving on active duty as a junior officer is not what I call foreign policy experience. He got up every morning and did what he was told.

A sitting Governor, however, has foreign policy responsibility, especially when that Governor’s state borders a potential (and former) foreign adversary.

McCain is a complete RINO on most issues and a hard core democrat on the rest.

(At least we agree on the F-22)

In the last line

"Indeed, they move her closer to Republican orthodoxy"

Ben Smith should have said

Indeed, they move her closer to Republican NeoCon orthodoxy.

The NeoCons are within Palin's closest circle of advisors and they hate Realist Bob Gates. They hate that Brent Scowcroft and Henry Kissinger are advising Obama

It was pretty clear that the only thing Palin disagreed with McCain on during the campaign was drilling. That was the one issue they openly admitted disagreement. Whether it was for appearance sake or she really agreed with him on the rest, I don’t know. But, for whatever it’s worth (probably not much), she did not oppose his positions on immigration, TARP and all the rest.

Maybe you can justify and rationalize the republican bloodbaths of 2006 and 2008 that the NeoCons gave you?

So tell me, if we can get you $2 trillion out of Congress, will that be enough to "build a nation" in Afghanistan? How many F 22s will you need?

BTW, "taking out Saddam" was only half of the NeoCon plan, the other half was installing Malichi.

Reach across the isle? I read that comment a lot, and have said it myself often enough. No, he resides on the other side of the isle. It’s his old home address (R) that he simply refuses to change. Leadership should change it for him.
