That settles it. Mark Levin is a RINO, a centrist, and Van Jones supporter.

Levin is smart, but obviously not that smart if he considers McCain to be anything than a cleaner version of dead Ted.

I consider McCain to be right down there with slime molds - only slightly above the Obamaloon.

Well Glenn is correct and Mark is wrong.

We wouldn’t be able to stop anything that McCain wanted to do which is most of what Obama wants to do also.

Beck is wrong. McCain would have been better for the country than Obama.

But McCain would have also killed Conservatism. One term of Obama is going to lead to a Conservative revival. But still harm will be done by Obama to the country during these 4 years.

The Obama administration is like a heart attack. It will either kill us or force us to get treatment and change our lifestyle. McCain would have been like continuing to go to the fried food buffet every meal for the next four years. Which would be worse? Well, that depends on whether the heart attack kills us or not, and my crystal ball is still a little to cloudy to make that prediction.

McCain would have been maybe a tiny improvement over Obama. But really, with the makeup of the U.S. House and Senate, even that slight benefit would have been neutralized.

And honestly, who cares if Beck agrees with Ron Paul on many issues like the Federal Reserve?

It’s a reasonable difference of opinion. Beck is more concerned about a bipartisan trend to accept one world socialist solutions. Levin is correct that on many policies McCain was far better than Obama.

I don’t think Beck cares to put all his eggs in the republican basket. Big deal.

I was on of those who thought, even before the election, that McCain would have been worse for the conservative movement, than electing Obama. McCain would have given away the store, played footsie with the Dems and expected the conservatives to “fall in line.” At least with Obama the line is drawn and if the Dems want to do such and such, then they have to own it. With McCain the bipartisanship would have continued the Democratic rule in Congress for years. With Obama, we have a shot to pick up seats in 2010.

Although I admire and listen to Mark Levin, I think he shows petty jealousy when it comes to Glenn Beck—digs here and there that are unnecessary and do divide. I think Beck has moved the political conversation to a whole new level, Levin feels threatened or at least that is the way he sounds!

Well, I happen to think Mark, whose whiny voice I can’t stand to listen to, is right here. This, despite my great dislike for McCain.

McCain would have sought to compromise to the liberals’ advantage on virtually everything. However, McCain would have fought the war on terror without reservation, unlike 0bama. I would also think McCain would have gotten someone less liberal to fill the Supreme Court.

Additionally, we would have had Sarah Palin getting experience in high office.

These are the only things I can think of in which McCain would have been better. I don’t think it can be said McCain would have been worse than 0bama, though, with any credibility based on the points I mention above.

So did I. Not to mentioned him going off the rails on this issue without taking it in the proper context. Besides, Levin didn't like McCain either.

Well, Levin might be right, but I don’t understand his approach; Beck does nothing but praise Mark, and he turns on his own? Even Rush has a long-standing resolution that he doesn’t comment on the other guys.

Besides, Glenn is doing much better work these days; he’s actually making a difference.

How much corruption has Levin uncovered? While I like Mark, he’s just spouting the same political commentary we hear from the other guys. Quit talking and start doing something.

Beck's focus is on domestic policy and the economy. It is rare for him to discuss foreign policy in any detail. In this well defined space, Beck is absolutely right. We'd have been moving in the same direction with McCain - more slowly and it'd be the fault of the conservatives when it all goes pear-shaped.

Levin's focus is larger and more philosophical. The differences he sees between McCain and Obama are real. I don't think McCain would have pulled the missles (without a quid pro quo) or would be bowing to the Saudis or Iran. I also think he would have already made a decision on Afganistan.

Would that the two of them could have a beer at the White House. I'm sure they could agree if they would both just broaden their view a bit.

It's supposed to be a big tent, remember?

Levin is right, as usual.

Obama is far worse for the country than McCain - on foreign policy alone. Beck is right in that, Obama has done wonders for the Conservative movement and McCain would have taken the Republican party even further left than it already has. Maybe that’s what he was meant.

Until I heard Glenn Beck put his statement in better context this morning on his radio show, I was feeling the same way Levin is.

Beck said: He voted for McCain, so that should clear up who the lesser of the two evils really were. BUT if McCain would of won, he would of went down the same path Obama is on, but a bit slower. And the ‘conservative movement’ would of suffered and the GOP blamed for the countries woes. There would of been no Tea Parties and the great conservative revival we are witnessing, and Palin as the VP would of advanced no further in 2012.

Reading through the threads it's easy to see who voted for Obama ,and your excuses for doing so.

McCain would have always supported our military. When you voted for Obama did you ever consider our brave warriors that have kept our country free?

In four years we may not have the privilege of voting for a president.

Bingo....

I have said I either want to see the Death Care bill pass with a full fledged "Government Option" or fail altogether. I do not want to see a new watered down semi-socialist system.

Year after year new provisions will be added. We will slowly move closer and closer to the full realization of Marx's dream. I don't want the American people to gradually grow accustomed to the increasingly warm water.

Mr. Jones should avoid alluding to such things altogether if he wishes to keep finding those bags of untraceable bills at the designated location. He's paid to blame the Mossad for all of humanity's ills, not for reckless speculation about KGB operations.
