Parts of Georgia have been covered by water and at least 8 are dead following massive flooding.
Georgia’s governor has declared a state of emergency in the 17 counties hardest hit by flooding from severe weather.

My heart goes out to all involved. I read that the red cross, I believe, was helping. I did ask myself where is Obamas press release, help and compassion for these people. He seems to be just like his voting record, absent!

It wasn’t the “urban” sections of Atlanta that were hit hardest, so not alot of people are wanting Obama to ride to the rescue, even if he could.
I'm in GA. I just got done mowing my back yard, finally on a day when it's not raining. Now it looks like a battallion of tanks ran across a muddy field. I'm not sure it's an improvement.
I live in the NW suburbs of Atlanta. I think you need to go search and look at the pictures of downtown "urban" Atlanta. The west side of town, which is mainly inhabited by blacks, is in bad shape, depending on the landscape of the neighborhood.
Either way, Zero could care less about people in the south, so he wouldn't do anything even if every black person in Atlanta was flooded out.
The military familes who have loved ones there should stand tall and raise hell. These guys lauging and joking around while our military continue to die!!! SHAME!!! SHAME!!!
Perdue has asked for Federal Aid. Has not received word as of yet that I know of.

Atlanta water facility is UNDER WATER at this moment and is it suspected that raw sewage is being swept into the Chattahoochie River which is now swirling around people’s homes. God knows what the drinking water is like.
Entire school systems are shut down around Atlanta. I keep waiting for Obama to say something, do something, but nope. He just has to reassure the country that he was black before he was President to a gap tooth comedian.

The body of a 15 y.o. boy was found Tuesday morning in North GA. He and a friend were trying to rescue someone trapped in a Jeep when he was swept away.
Prayers for this young man and his family.

Everyone needs to realize that FEMA can’t just appear right away. The governor of the state in which there is damage needs to put in a request to receive federal assistance. Then the damaged area needs to be assessed and then the President needs to approve the request for federal aid. AND THEN THE FEMA WORKERS CAN COME IN AND HELP!
Oh bull crap. The media NEVER pointed this out when Bush was president. Hussein needs to be down there personally consoling people who’ve lost loved ones and their homes.
