Anti-War Group Holds Protest In Front Of Bush Home (Cindy Sheehan)

DALLAS (CBS 11 / TXA 21) Mother turned war activist Cindy Sheehan made another stop in Dallas today.

Her son died in the Iraq war in 2004.

She has since organized a number of anti-war demonstrations, including one Saturday in front of former President George W. Bush's neighborhood.

His community isn't welcoming the rally.

Leigh Crowe is a neighbor of the Bush family. "Why harass him? At this point it feels like harassment."

About 50 demonstrators led by Sheehan staged the protest outside the gates of Bush's Dallas home. The message: the former president is a war criminal.

"He should be prosecuted for his crimes" says Sheehan.

Rich Hancock is a fellow demonstrator. "What happened before could very well happen again if we're not vigilant about making the people who committed these illegal actions are held accountable "

But the message, signs and propaganda are an unwelcomed addition for many neighbors.

Allison Chapman is another Bush neighbor "We would like for the protestors to stop. I find it very offensive. I wouldn't protest in Obama's neighborhood they shouldn't protest in Bush's."

Both residents and demonstrators feel the tension. Security was tight and police were on alert.
