This is major BS. I wonder if Kansas has “sunshine” laws for open governemnt - i.e. no confidential state documents or the ability to hide garbage like this.

Many states like FL have this. KS is a pretty Repub state - people need to raise h*ll and get these documents disclosed to the public.

Well, at the least the people — and taxpayers — of Kansas now know what side their governor is on.

I’d like to find out if the same thing is happening in California. Just a couple of weeks ago, in the small towns of Jackson & Sutter Creek (small foothill communities) the SEIU were demonstrating and carrying signs about wanting to unionize the (fantastic) little hospital up here. Seems they won’t be happy until they’ve screwed up every medical venue that works well without union interference.

"the unions are collecting information on HEALTHCARE PROVIDERS???"

Indeed they are.

My wife, who works at a hospital, has had to join a union for previous employment. She thinks, BTW, based on several experiences, that they are absolutely worthless for providing the sort of help to their members which they claim is their main reason to exist. She has become firmly convinced that they exist solely to garner dues to benefit the leadership financially and politically. Smart gal!

At her new job at a non-union hospital, the union is applying all sorts of strong-arm tactics to get enough support to make it a union shop, including repeated mailings and home phone calls to every member of the staff. The theories circulating about how that info came into the hands of the union are not pretty ones. These are evil people.

Unfortunately, that makes perfect sense.

Destroy the 1300 private health care insurers over the next 2 or 3 years by oppressive new government mandates, taxes and regulations, and FINISH THEM OFF by forcing UNIONS down their throats!
