Airplane shoe bomber Richard C. Reid no longer faces severe limits on his prison activities or communications after the Obama administration quietly ended years of hard-nosed curbs against the British-born al-Qaeda terrorist.
This summer the Justice Department halted six years of measures that kept Reid from associating or praying with fellow jailed Muslim terrorists, and limited his access to the news media and pen pals.

The “official” reason given for the clampdown was to prevent Reid from ordering more terrorist acts. But I’m sure what really was on the Bush administration’s mind was to keep him from being glorified, so that future bombers would not look forward to similar adulation. (It’s extremely unlikely that Reid was anything but the sucker at the bottom of a jihadi totem pole.) Obama has done away with that. What’s next, a Charles Manson fan web site?

In one of his books he said that he would always stand with the Muslims. This is the one thing that he will do. He is against the USA and needs to be impeached. He acts as if 911 never happened.

(It's extremely unlikely that Reid was anything but a sucker at the bottom of the jehadi totem pole). This is the absolute bottom line. I saw the man's father on the Larry King show. He was a Jamaican immigrant fifty years ago to London, England. I do not mean to sneer, but he was very inarticulate.
There is always a tragic aspect to all of this and I do not expect Freepers to consider this. This against his vile obscene intent. For just as Stanley Ann Dunham had her moment with Barack Hossein Obama, so did Reid's mother. His mother, a very prissy middle-class women, who's father was a magistrate and an accountant, heeded the cry of non-discrimination. She married a man who was virtually low end intelligence.
She quickly took off for the quite confines of Somerset, England. Unlike Stanley Ann, who left Barack with two very caring parents, Reid was left with the worst of the worst. He was dragged up as a kid. True, it might be said "no excuse" and I guess there is some truth in that.
At least the foolish man has his life. I like to see the swine behind him, put behind bars.
