It’d be a little different if he had 14 kids like my MIL. When she wanted to yell at one, she’d start at the top, saying a partial of everyone’s name on down the list, then stop when she got to the one she wanted to REALLY yell at, LOL!

I was even getting ready to stand up for him on this: My Dad would go down the list of his kids’ names—boy and girl names—until he hit on the right one.
I won’t stand up for him because Dad never called any of us names that weren’t names of his kids.

on this one I have to cut him a small break...when I yelled at one of my kids, I had to go through all the names to get the right one and it sent them into laughter...(but I had 5 not 2 )
If calling your kids by the wrong name is a crime...better lock me up and throw away the key!
How does a parent mistakingly think their kid had meningitis, its not like mono! I think your right . . . he’s lying about his child for political gain.

Ummm....I wouldn’t read too much into this. Both my parents called us by their siblings names, not often but it happened.

here is what may have happened...MO said-fortunately it worked out for us..she didnt say whether or not Sasha had it.
NY times may have interpreted that to mean she didn’t have it.
NOt ever having been exposed to this subject I could be off base but they may have given her a spinal tap to determine if she had it..and then sent her on her way when it was negative.
I don’t think they would have released her in a couple of days if she had it.

I have three daughters, and the next time I call one correctly without going through the names of the other two will be the first time. Thank God I keep my son’s name straight and out of it.

I am calling BS on this. Based on the research I am finding you dont take a 3 or 4 month year old baby (depending on whose version of the story you are hearing) and release her from the hospital after 3 or 4 days if she has the disease.
She may have had a spinal tap but even that may be a lie.

“3 or 4 days” is just testing, observation time.
With meningitis, they are in isolation and kept longer both for treatment and to insure they don't transmit it.
He lies with such ease, I think he may even believe himself.
Seriously, what parent hasn’t done this?
