Two gutsy young people did the undercover journalistic legwork that quickly turned public opinion against the radical leftist group ACORN, but their work might have been less effective without the "promotional genius" of Andrew Breitbart.
Breitbart, who first made a splash on the new media scene at The Drudge Report, released the first video shot by "the pimp and the prostitute" (James O'Keefe and Hannah Giles) on Sept. 10, the day Breitbart launched his new Web site, BigGovernment.com. It exposed ACORN employees in Baltimore aiding and abetting both underage prostitution and tax fraud.
Since then, BigGovernment has released four more video stings against ACORN employees in Washington; New York; San Bernardino, Calif.; and San Diego. The impact has been swift and sweeping:

What was brilliant, is he is dribbling out the videos to build media momentum that was sustainable, and also to protect him and the two kids that did the camera work from reprisal. Nobody knows how many more films exists but that protects all parties.
I only prey to God that those two kids are provided with security.

You're right, he is brilliant. And also the two kids who did the undercover work in the videos. The Acorn scandal has to be one of the biggest news stories of the year. Oh ya, when will ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN look into the days when Obama was a lawyer for Acorn?
What was brilliant, is he is dribbling out the videos to build media momentum that was sustainableYes, brilliant move; was over-joyed when a 3rd and 4th vid came to light keeping the momentum up and showing how vapid ACORN upper-management was in their 'denials' and dissembling.
If they say something after the first video without knowing there was a second video to come, then they could be proven to be lying with the second video, such as how it was an isolated incident or a lone rogue employee.
But when the second video comes out corroborating the first video, and then a third and then a fourth, suddenly they don't know what to say for fear of a fifth and sixth video.
So, when they suddenly clam up or start hurling personal attacks instead of rebutting the charges, then they begin to look guilty, and now the mainstream institutions have no choice but to cover the story.

I think it would be a worthy endeavor to compile a list of the gotta stay and gotta go republicans soon before the elections. We can argue the pros and cons of each candidate and finalize it. Then make the list very public and encourage people to support the good ones, and undermine the bad in a more organized fashion.
I’m guessing the pimp, who we of course don’t see in the sting videos, is dressed far more modestly than in the pictures the crew mugged for.
Apparently he wasn’t, which, if true, makes the ACORN people even more laughable and stupid.
Without Glenn Beck and Fox news....these videos would have been ignored.
My worry is that Fox News is becoming such a threat to the LEFT’S dreams of a complete COMMUNIST takeover in America, that they will simply make an offer Murdoch can’t refuse. Buy him out. Once Fox is gone....smooth sailing for the COMMUNISTS.

I am from CA (Orange County) living in NC for the last four years. I had occasion to talk to my congress critter a couple of months ago (Sue Myrick) This lady would have a tough time pouring pee out of a boot with directions written on the heel.
BTW California HAS term limits. And all we get for it is a series of newbie nincompoops.
