A computer belonging to alleged al Qaeda suspect Najibullah Zazi showed he had researched baseball and football stadiums and sites used in the recent Fashion Week event in New York City, law enforcement officials tell ABCNews.com.
As the 24-year-old was being questioned for a fourth straight day by FBI agents about his alleged ties to al Qaeda, law enforcement officials said the Denver man's computer showed he had researched baseball and football stadiums and sites used in the recent Fashion Week event in New York City.
Zazi, 24, was scheduled to be questioned for a fourth straight day today by FBI agents, but failed to show up this morning. Asked if his client had been taken into custody overnight, Zazi's lawyer Arthur Folsom said, "Read between the lines."
While officials say they do not know the targets of the alleged plot, the contents of Zazi's computer are considered a valuable insight into what he might have been planning.
After first denying any ties to al Qaeda, Zazi has now admitted certain ties developed during trips to Pakistan, law enforcement officials told ABCNews.com.
The officials said text messages sent by Zazi suggest the plot was nearing the attack phase. One message said the "wedding cake is ready," which authorities say may have been code to indicate the attack was ready. Al Qaeda operatives have frequently used references to weddings to disguise planned terror attacks.
Zazi's computer was copied, or "mirrored," by FBI agents last weekend without Zazi's knowledge. His lawyer said the agents probably made the copy after towing away Zazi's car on an purported parking violation. The computer was in the car, and Zazi told his lawyer he discovered it had been tampered with when he retrieved the car at a police lot.

The religion of piss strikes again.
fashion sites?
That means we can finally get the gay media to cover the story. DO NOT MESS WITH THEIR NEW FLOWER PRINTS!
What do they say?
AQ has surveillance teams check out and surveil the targets, then the setup team which assembles and puts the pieces into play, and an execution team which literally executes themselves.
They are separate and controlled from outside the US.
That’s my own thinking.
They aren’t stupid.
WTF?
Ask Eric Holder......
The liberals will still not get it, even if a muslim bomb goes off on the catwalk...
If the dirty moslems blow up the Calvin Klein show.....
....Just blame Bush.
BUMP!
Not good. Expecially with the leftie amateurs in charge of, um, national security.
OMG!!! I saw a FOOT!!!!
if evidence was discovered from a computer inside the vehicle of the suspect, isn’t that illegal search? Believe me, I live right outside Denver, I want this guy locked up, I am just wondering if this accusation will stick.
Najibullah Zazi had been scheduled to go to the Federal Building in Denver on Saturday. But Wendy Aiello, a spokeswoman for Zazi's defense team, told The Associated Press that Zazi and his attorney contacted the FBI to cancel the meeting.
"They are meeting as client and attorney to review the case and the entire situation," Aiello said. "Further meetings with the FBI are not being ruled out."
Al Quaeda is just as annoyed as we are by the fashion people who dress Michelle Obama!
A) They probably had a warrant, and B) If it's in a police impound lot, they don't need a warrant. Moral of the story, don't get your car towed if your storing your drugs, or plans to blow up the world in aforementioned auto.
My computer has sports and fashion too. Stadiums, seating plans, concert and game schedules, and a folder of Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show videos (and some Pirelli Calendar hi-res stills). Plus reloading information including powder data sheets.
I hope they have more evidence than this, this sounds more like jury propaganda than evidence.
