For all his faults, George Bush had some interesting solutions for the health care problem. Unlike the empty suit we have as President, Bush actually detailed his suggestions.

HSAs, portability, transparency, revised tax policies, tort refrom. It’s in there.

The big difference is that George Bush was actually interested in health care reform. Barack Obama could care less about health care. His plan is all about amassing political power and government control over people’s lives. That’s why his plan and arguments are so disjointed and nonsensical, he can’t reveal to us what his real goals are, that would give up the game.

And you know, I never remember hearing of this interview. Not even on Fox.

Obama is just an empty suit. His speeches say nothing. But he sure reads a mean teleprompter.

I've been saying for 10 years that HSA are the solution to our problems. We need to keep pounding on this theme. This is what I believe Whole Foods has and my understanding is that their employees love it. I don't know what this idea hasn't received more attention. It's the way to go.

This is why rants about use of the ‘bully pulpit’ are nonsensical; it doesn’t matter if you use it, if you stand there and talk all day and no one does anything w/ it, what difference does it make . . . tree falls in the woods . . . meanwhile, Big Ears is trying to cram a message down our throats that the majority of people obviously disagree w/ and gets all of the help in the world. Without respecting the fact that we’re turning our backs to him in response. Frustrating, but then, this is why so many people showed up on the Mall Saturday:)

Federal employees have it too. And, of course so does Congress. They also can enroll in the Thrift Savings Plan--where they can use part of their income to purchase stocks and other investments IN ADDITION to their contributions to Social Security. Up until the economic slump, those TSP accounts of the Congress critters and Senators were probably worth tens of thousands of dollars.

But of course, it would be "unfair" to offer these programs to the general public--because they are not near as smart as Congress to know how to use them wisely!

Remember how the Dims howled when George Bush made his suggestion to allow citizens to invest in the stock market?

SHEESH! What hypocrites!
