Even though one doesn't want to run.
A poll shows Joe Kennedy remains the favorite for his uncle's Senate seat despite his decision to remain at Citizens Energy.
Republican prospects look predictably bleak.

So go down to the drunk tank and yell Kennedy. I am sure they can find one.
"Ahsk naught what the Kennedys cahn do for you, but what you cahn do for the Kennedys."
“Taxachusetts”
LOL !!!
Well of course they do. That is the fabled Kennedy seat, not the Commonwealth’s..
Mass idiot voters deserve what they get.
Move the heroin addict up from NY.
Massachusetts voters never learn.
MA and Kennedy deserve each other.
Disgraceful reprobates.
This is like saying “New Yorkers still want a Gotti”. And the parallels are pretty exact, especially when you look at the original generation and the succeeding generations.
as a state,a collective IQ that that would be challenged by a herd of buffalo.
Stupid people want a king. Perhaps Prince Charles could run?
As staffers prepare the resignation papers for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, the former New York Senator is heading to court to change her name to Hillary Rodham Kennedy. --- more to come.
I’m from Massachusetts.
I don’t vote Kennedy.
Never did.
Never will.
But, of course, how the MA graveyard residents vote, that’s a different kettle o’ fish entirely.
What the hell is wrong with those people??
>>>> Massachusetts voters never learn. <<<<
I lived in Mass. for a good while.
They *do* learn.
They like being perverse, and they like being seen by the nation as being perverse.
“Quirky Massachusetts.”
How Yankee.
They clearly are not taxed enough.
I grew up there but left a long time ago - I know not everyone up there drinks the Kennedy Kool-aid - but a hell of a lot still do.
Funny I have been a registered Republican voter in Massachusetts, (yes there are 5 of us here in the Peoples Republic) for 31 years and I have never been polled. I wonder why? Is it because of the R after my name on the voter rolls?
On Joe Kennedy running for Congress: "Oh, he's a Kennedy we need him!"
My reply: "So, Joe Kennedy is the same as toilet paper?"
Question to someone on how the state can keep sending a drunken, philandering murderer back to the Senate: "Well, if a Senator's job is to bring recognition to his state, he's doing a good job."
My reply: "The state of Illinois had quite a bit of recognition brought to it by John Wayne Gacy, but nobody wants to run him for the US Senate."
Well, I’m one who doesn’t. And I don’t think I know anybody here who does.
They deserved to be squeezed for every penny.
It’s interesting-I live in The Swimmer’s district; he was not as universally “loved” and “admired” as people think.
When he died, the funeral cortege didn’t get as many viewers along the streets as the local police thought they would have. The ones who did come out were mostly older people.
Older people might have voted for The Swimmer, but the younger people (young voters, that is) and teenagers I talk to mostly laughed at him.
Oh they learn, then they leave and come to Texas and bring their liberalism with them.
The only thing dumber then a New York Democrat is a Massachusetts Democrat.
whatta disgusting state!
Because they're idiots.
I have a lot of memories
1. The swimmer came to my high school once and spoke outside on the campus.
2. Being in the US Senate and seeing him as a young man there.
3. Knew a girl once who claimed to have been his mistress around the 1980 time frame.
4. Heard all the stories out in Cape Cod about how all the Kennedy spawn would raise Holy Hell around the “Compound” and nothing would ever happen to them.
5. Various other Kennedy spawn checking into MGH for problems related to heroin.
6. Chilling out in his dorm room with the son that lost a leg to cancer one night, again in 1980 time frame.
Probably worth pointing out that the Kennedy trajectory has been a progressively downwards one - during the 60’s (let’s say pre Chappaquiddick) it hadn’t yet become a tawdry spectacle - as time went on the whole thing became a parody as is so often the case.
My grandma and grandpa came from Norway in 1903 and settled in Boston. And I’m happy to say that my 15 cousins and I are all conservatives, and are raising conservatives (my grandson at Michigan Tech is a huge Glenn Beck fan) even though some of us have spread out over the country now.
As for me, I’ll take the guy with the bloody sock.
Mass voters remind me of battered wives. They take the beating from the ‘Rats, gripe about it to everyone else, but when election time comes along, they’ll keep pulling the “D” name with the reasoning, “but...but...but...he loves me!”
*****************
Me too! Has he officially thrown his hat in the ring?
Not that I’m aware...just hopin’.

Massachuetts, the East Germany of American.
Im from Massachusetts.
I dont vote Kennedy.
Never did.
Never will.
But, of course, how the MA graveyard residents vote, thats a different kettle o fish entirely.
Thank you! I am also from Massachusetts (ie taxachusetts), and I have never voted for these idiots. I agree they probably use the graveyard to get their votes!
Republican prospects look predictably bleak.
Assachusetts looks bleaker for any taxpayer stupid enough to live there....
You also have to remember the source that this information came from. Liberal TV? Liberal Newspapers? Never bought a paper in this state. When they call me I laugh and state no thanks!
My family arrived in Massachusetts in 1630 - they will not run me out.
The liberals in Massachusetts are known elsewhere in New England as Massholes.
Keep fighting the good fight, FRiend, and keep Texas in mind if you’re looking for a good vacation spot!
We like beer, guns, meat, dogs, horses, and hot broads in not much clothes.
Permanent, ingrained insanity from the worst state in the union.
I think the Kennedys are their claim to fame, so to speak. Every state wants to be recognized for something special. It gets them a mention in the news. Like S.D. has the Black Hills monuments, Nevada has Vegas, etc.
I know I know, the Declaration of Independence was signed there but since they no longer teach American history, fewer and fewer people know that.
Boston only poll. There are actually some conservatives out in the suburbs and in western ma..
Mass stupidity in Mass.
BVS = Battered voter syndrome, its a terribly debilitating disease.
hahaha
Thanks my Texas FRiend! It would be the first place I would consider especially since my husband travels there throughout the year for his work. It would work out perfectly!
But I will stay and fight for a little longer! Things are progressing quicker than I thought they would. We’ll just have to wait and see. Lock and load!
