In the 60’s I was warned not to fly militart standby in my uniform. The Navy told us once onboard go to the restroom and change into civies.
That way if someone spit on me for being a baby killer in O’hare airport, my uniform stayed nice. Being in uniform in 1968 California wasn’t too nice either. I was in San Diego at the now closed Camp Nimitz for boot camp.
Don’t include me in the hippie total. And I didn’t inhale either. ;)
Well thank you for your service!
Earlier this year our congressman Devin Nunes tried to get an amendment attached to a bill, to turn the pumps back on. We think Jim Costa went behind Nunes’s back to submarine the amendment because Nunes is a Republican and Costa is a Democrat.
Bookmarked.
The issue is more complicated than just liberal vs. conservative. Stockton, Sacramento, Martinez and Berkeley are putting either raw or partially treated sewage into the Delta. They don’t want to build water treatment plants, so they supported the USFWS decision to turn off the pumps to protect the fish. What needs to happen is to make these cities build water treatment plants to protect the Delta.
I watched the show.
There are only two things to do. Turn on the pumps. Load the rifles.
For now, ballots are better than bullets but Americans have revolted against tyrants before.
Mitchell shops while farmers drop
Would you please post a list of the counties being destroyed by these green economic terrorists and ping me.
I wonder if we are seeing a replay of how GMC and Chrysler Dealers got closed because they supported McCain and Palin?
My wife and I have made a few trips down 101 this year passing through a lot of irrigated farm land from about 40 miles south of San Jose to Santa Barbara.
The farms are lush, well irrigated, green and producing wonderful crops versus our other valley. I know that we are talking about different water for irrigation.
Please go to this link to an interactive map of the 2008 elections. The irrigated areas along 101 are all blue for 0b0z0. I think most of the counties in the current dust bowl voted for McCain/Palin and are the red counties.
So are the farmers in this new dust bowl being punished for voting and supporting republicans.

It’s fairly green here in Tulare county. It seems that Fresno County has been hit the hardest along with parts of Kings and probably as a political retaliation for Free Republic, KMJ, Radanovich (R)and conservitive christian values unlike the bay area and up in Sacramento.
I travel south to the Grapvine hill and in all looks good down there.
and ping me.?
Newbie pans asks... what’s a ping?
I’m not advocating that we use bullets. The will not be necessary. The Obama Administration is not going to take the political hit for attacking American citizens over a fish. They will back down.
Hubby joined the lady in the food line in tears. Glad to see that Costa was booed.
Surprisingly the local 11 oclock news also covered the rally, although they ended with a report that it is all the farmers’ fault for wasting water...
Outrageous!
Sorry for the poor quality of the water rally. I didn’t bring a tripod and it’s off VHS tape on a handheld camera.
These clips show things you didn’t see on Youtube or on FOX.
Everyone’s seen their footang and the crowd. This is how the event was set up and shows the work that went into it.
