To the nameless, faceless commandos...THANK YOU.
God Bless the IDF...current and former!
movie?
Awfully gallant of them. I hope the lady doesn’t turn on them.
IS there a member of the “peaceful, loving religion” of Islam that would like to calmly comment?
Awesome!
Has anyone actually ever admitted to being a following of Muhammad (poop be on his name) on this forum?
I’ve known progressive American women who’ve fallen for this trap.
No greater idiocy have I ever seen. Their first child, a girl, died inexplicably at the hospital.
All I can say is that Satan has one smooth tongue.
Why would a woman living in freedom ever marry a muslim?
“Not with my child you don’t” with Sally Fields.
I actually know of one Muslim member of FR. He is very open about his belief. He was also very vocal and passionate about the uprising in his home country if Iran.
Do the words, "OMG he's hot" ring a bell?
He wasn’t too happy with Dinner Jacket?
I believe the title was “Not without my daughter”; i.e. ‘i ain’t leaving without her’.
Winston Churchill’s take on the subject...
“The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.”
She played herself and reaped what she’d sown.
Hopefully she wont run her mouth too much while playing the dramaqueen role and enable the terrorists family members to find her and kill her and her family.
Dimwit.
Horrible.
She was dumb enough to marry one of these people a whole truck load of BAD comes along with them.

The movie with Sally Fields?
Never seen it.
The answer is given long ago by Nietzsche, to wit: "Free from what? Don't tell me that. Free for what? That's what I would like to hear."
Many people don't understand freedom they have and don't know what to do with it.
Maybe we can get the IDF to free Rifka Bary from her parents...before some Islamic Terrorist gets her?
That is the most perplexing question of our time.
And, BTW, a pox on the State Dept for their toothless non-involvement.

I am glad these brave men rescued this woman, but, jeez, what an idiot!
Well done gentlemen!
My liberal spouse saw Betty Mahmoudi in person at the local Marconi Club. She did not know her husband had been fired from his job in America. He went to Iran because his sister had a new child. Betty went for "about three weeks" to visit. She was trapped.
Betty did say that the Iranians who did help her escape were "wonderful people". The film may not have given full credit to the decent ones. Her husband was "westernized" so she thought, and lived in the States for twenty years. She said he had changed beyond recognition as a nice caring husband, after going back to Iran. He also got into trouble in Iran. He said he was a surgeon, but was an anesthetist only.
Anyway, full marks for the men of action.
Why indeed. That's a question I'd like my otherwise intelligent niece to answer. Thank goodness, at least she won't leave the country with their child, and refuses to become muslim or wear muslim garb. I don't care for her husband. And I don't trust him.
A while back a Freeper's daughter experienced firsthand the dangerous influence of a muslim predator as he spun his BS on the beautiful, sweet and naive daughter.

Take a look.
Fortunately a Freeper was able to help save her from a terrible mistake, a very terrible mistake.
1. Thanks, IDF.
2. Why do these women even fall for Muslim men? Don’t they ever read the stories about women in the Muslim world? Oh, that’s right... “it can’t happen to me—” “he loves me—” “he’s strong—” the rallying cry of the abused woman.
Yes, A few years ago. He was only here a short time.
When I was in college in the 1970s there were quite a few Iranian students, all male. I was amazed at how many girls fell for them and would let themselves be treated like dirt. It was sick, and I never did figure it out. I worked in the campus security office and if the Iranians had to deal with me they were rude and horrible and did not hide their hatred for our country or us. I could not see anyone being attracted to them. This was before the Iranian hostage crisis, which did not surprise me one bit when it happened.
Now they need to go to Saudi and get ALL of our citizens OUT OF THERE!!!

I remember the tobacco adds in magazines at that time showing the dark complected handsome “Turk” looking man that women really went for. Tobacco adds were on the cutting edge of what they considered “handsome”.
And when the Iranians were expelled from the US after the fall of the Shah, the cameras showed many of the blond blue eyed beauties wailing because their boy friends were given the old Heave-ho and they were left behind!

Wow Happy ending !!good going woman there are property nothing more she is lucky.
Many women are weak and vulnerable. Not all: Margaret Thatcher comes to mind. But young women, especially, really want to believe what people are telling them. That is one of our shortcomings. That’s why you need a strong dad in the house, and good brothers are an asset, too.
I know that’s not good feminist rhetoric, but I am sorry, I don’t know that there is any creature as gullible as a teenage girl. I know, I was one.
This woman was not a teenage girl, I know, but some of us don’t grow up.
To further illustrate my point, I think young men have an intrinsic weakness, too, and that is the belief that they are invulnerable to risk. It just seems to go with the hormones or genetic make-up or something. We lose some fine young men that way, on the other hand, they do great things. Similarly, a young woman’s gullibility can be very endearing and bring out the best in people. And their starry eyed look at the world can do good.

"Stupid heavy-handed bigots!"
OK, that thread needs closure. Its like reading a great book only to find the last chapter ripped out. What happened? Did she decide to fly away anyway... and someone stopped her at the gate? Did she give up or find another way? We need the rest of the story.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

The human rights groups will howl, Jimmy Carter will write a book. Wonder if Obama will send them back?
YEA! GOD! AND BLESS THE COMMANDOS.
May the evil doers fall in the pit they have dug and that speedily.
It is up to 6PPC to decide if he wishes to share further details.
Thank-you! There is probably a growing need for this sort of service. American women are pretty niave about foreign men sometimes.
I’ve heard of raids like this in other cases. I’m dying for specific numbers of known cases and numbers rescued, but googling and searching Jerusalem Post archives has thus far not helped. Anyone have what I’m looking for out there?
Were the “rude and horrible” Iranian males you mention the ideological forerunners of today’s Islamofascist radicals? If so, who do you suppose was funding their educations in the US?
As a bachelor in a large singles fellowship, I’ve known more than a few American women who seem to swoon over rude, ignorant, disrespectful Arabic men... Very odd to me, must be that dark-and-handsome thing.
As a blond Germanic looking guy, I can’t say I’ve ever found Arabic women attractive at all...
May God continue to bless the IDF active duty and former IDF.
GREAT JOB GUYS!
Thanks for the ping Justiceseeker93.
I’m sure the woman will kiss the ground when she is back in the USA.
I often wonder if I may personally know some of the leaders of Iran today from college. It is a good question as to who was funding their education; but I have no idea.
