I am with you on this one..teenagers who have growing pains with their parents ( especially if the parents are strict) would be a likely target for being taken advantage of. I wonder how he brought her to FL and then did not notify authorities and perhaps she could have stayed with a “christian” residential facillity ( not for delinquents) or with another family in the church.

He is awfully close to this kid. If there is no veracity to her claims, I would be really ticked if I was the parents, not knowing who this guy is or what was going on in FL.

GovernmentShrinker is an actual, hard core, pro abortion, pro “gay” marriage, pro late term abortion/pro animal rights/anti leather, pro Rudy Giuliani/Mitt Romney troll, I don’t know why he is kept here.

The guy is a whack case.

An excellant analysis.

Just because someone is a “Christian Pastor” does not preclude his not so worthy designs., nor does it automatically condemn him outright. However, his behaviors are out of line as an adult male with his behaviors in this situation. One’s religion does not autmatically allow inappropriate behaviors, even if well intentioned.

Playing devil’s advocate ( and I will get flamed for this )...What IF a Muslim family talked to a teenage girl on the internet and convinced her to become a Muslim against the wishes of her now angry Christian family. Then the adult male Muslim of the family helps the 17 yr old come to another state, keeps her in his home and then she starts wearing a burka. I wonder if the Christian family would intervene and ask the “State’ to help bring her back home.

Photoshopped. Look at the bottom right corner (his left corner). Both signs have the same dog-ear.

You can see how it was done. The biggest clue is that the "S" in "ISLAM" is clipped along the top, and the "I" also, I think. Then a lot of the letters were reused. The "N" in "VIOLENT" was copied from "INSULT", for example, and the "O" was copied from "WHO". Then you can see that the "V" and the "Y" were added, since they appear a little fuzzy.

Cool and very imaginative - and true in both pictures. I wonder what the original message was ....

I don’t “dislike Christianity”, but I’m not fond of self-promoting pastors (think Jim Bakker, Jimmy Swaggart), which is what this guy appears to be.

There’s also quite solid evidence that this girl’s family was not practicing the extremist-jihadist brand of Islam, which is the only brand that is fond of killing their daughters/wives. She was on her high school cheerleading squad — definitely not something that students can participate in against their parents wishes, and something that necessarily involves wearing ultra-short skirts and no hijab while doing moves that expose one’s bare legs and pantied crotch to huge crowds of unrelated males. There are pictures of a happy-looking Rifqa posing in her cheerleading outfit. The extremist Muslims wouldn’t even allow their daughter to wear something like that inside her own home, much less in front of a crowd of horny teenage boys.

They may well be upset that she announced she’d converted to Christianity, and may have forbidden her to go to church services or Christian youth group meetings, or continue dating some boy who may have been involved in her conversion. But that’s not a threat to kill her, any more than it would be if a Christian parent was appalled when their teenage daughter announced she’d converted to Islam, and took steps within normal parental authority to start limiting her contact with her new Muslim friends and clergy. But if she was pissed off at her parents and just wanted to get out from under their authority (as many teens do), she would certainly know that she’d get some sympathy if she claimed they were threatening to kill her.

I think we should just let the courts do their jobs on this one. She’s an Ohio resident, and that gives Ohio jurisdiction. Florida really should have sent her back to Ohio (to law enforcement/social services custody, not her parents) within 24 hours of discovering her in Florida, and let Ohio sort it out. Ohio police had had a missing child alert out for her for over 2 weeks already. The only court action needed in Florida is against the pastor, for harboring a minor runaway.

If your teenage child rebelled against your Christian teachings and practices, and ran away and was found in another state, where she’d been staying in the home of a Wiccan group leader who’d befriended her online, I’m sure you’d be livid if that state declined to return her to her home state, without first conducting its own court proceedings and investigations to determine the validity of her claims that you threatened to beat her if she didn’t toe the line on your religious teachings. You’d be asking “Why can’t the courts in my own state handle this?” and “Shouldn’t that other state’s courts be focusing on this Wiccan lady who befriended my minor daughter online and then gave a place to hide out while my state authorities had a nationwide alert out for my missing child?”.

I think the “INSULT ISLAM” version is original. The “ISLAM” was copied to the “VIOLENT” version, and the “S” was clipped. The “V” and “Y” had to be drawn in because they do not appear in the original. The “S” and “A” in “SAY” were copied from “ISLAM”. Note the “A” is different in “BEHEAD”.
I think the “E” and “T” in “VIOLENT” are from “THOSE” and “INSULT”, respectively. I don’t see any definite copies in the original ( if it is original. )

Rifqa Bary: Florida Law Enforcement “no threat”, the fix is in: Islam (Sharia) Law Not Investigated, “abused by her father throughout her childhood”

You can equate Florida law enforcement misunderstanders of apostasy to the same broken thinking that renamed the “war on terror” to “overseas contingency operations”. Who did they talk to? Ibrahim Hooper?

— The Islamic community was not investigated. “An investigation into any person, religious or social organization without a specific identifiable criminal predicate is inappropriate,” the report said.

And if there is no threat, what is Rifqa Bary so terrified of? Her “doting father” or nuturing mosque.

— Rifqa told investigators she had been abused by her father throughout her childhood, but her parents and older brother denied such allegations or using any harsh punishment.

Did the speak to the police officer that spoke to nearly 20 people that said Rifqa was in fear of her life? Amy Edwards *sniff sniff* over at the Orlando Sentinel Amy, her name is Rifqa .......

Fathima Rifqa Bary: No credible reports of threats toward Rifqa, FDLE says Orlando Sentinel
“. . . FDLE’s inquiry to date has failed to reveal any evidence of a conspiracy to commit, solicitation to commit, attempt or other efforts to commit any such action or other violence against her,” the report said.

FDLE agents interviewed Rifqa on Aug. 21. Rifqa said she would become the victim of an “honor killing” by her family or someone else because of her conversion.

Other than her father, Rifqa didn’t identify any specific people who have verbally or physically threatened her with death, the report said.

Yeah, name names so that will make Rifqa real popular rover at the NOOR mosque. What cowards

.Among the highlights in the report:
— The Islamic community was not investigated. “An investigation into any person, religious or social organization without a specific identifiable criminal predicate is inappropriate,” the report said.

Investigators checked with local, state and federal authorities in Columbus and Orlando and “have not been made aware of any identifiable threat.”

Would the keystone Cupp consider Qarawadi a threat?
— Rifqa told investigators she had been abused by her father throughout her childhood, but her parents and older brother denied such allegations or using any harsh punishment.

A school official said the district had no records of alleged abuse either.

— Rifqa told investigators a high school teacher had offered to house her in the event that she “needed to escape repercussions from her family due to her Christian religious beliefs.

Investigators questioned that teacher, who told them she wasn’t aware of any danger toward Rifqa. The teacher said she made the offer to Rifqa because her brother was having parties at the house when the Barys were out of town and the teacher was concerned for Rifqa’s safety in that environment.

I reported earlier that the teacher was “warned”.

— Rifqa told investigators she hitchhiked from a neighbor’s house to the Columbus Greyhound bus station July 20. She arranged for a ticket through Christian associates she met through Facebook.

But Brian Williams, who baptized Rifqa, told investigators he picked Rifqa up from a residence and drove her to the station. He said Rifqa has preplanned spots around the country — including in Georgia — where she could flee. “Mr. Williams referred to the preplanning locations as . . .’fire drills.’”

— Rifqa’s bus ticket was purchased in Orlando under a fictitious name. The report does not say who purchased it.

“FDLE’s investigation has not developed any information which supports an allegation of criminal activity in the state of Florida,” the report said. “Furthermore, our investigation has provided no clear evidence of criminal activity in other states which may be supportive of the above allegations.”

How bad can it get? You have no idea. We are infiltrated at every level, every agency. They will not let this girl go. They cannot ....it’s Islam. No one escapes without great personal risk and personal cost. Rifqa will be threatened her entire life.

I would equate a CAIR-tied mole showing Rifqa’s investigators around a radical mosque to Himmler giving a tour of Buchenwald to Life magazine.

Here’s an interesting post from a burka loving Muslima critical of the Noor mosque. This is the same woman who has posted critically of Rifqa, Florida and Crist, so no secret advocate she. But it seems she is no fan of NOOR either. She alleges that NOOR acts in sexist and racist ways toward women and blacks, and maintains an Arab domination through its board of governors. Noor Islamic Cultural Center: The Torch and the Torch Bearers So this is where Bary took his daughter to learn Islam upon discovery of her conversion.

And this is where they’ll send Rifqa.

Creeping Sharia has more FL Rifqa investigators were led around by CAIR’s Islamist Homeland Security mole

If a teen alleges abuse, the teen is presumed to be telling the truth and put into protective custody until it’s proven otherwise. That’s how the system works. I can’t really offer an improvement on it. If my daughter lied and said I’d kill her for converting to Wicca (which I would not), and the state kept her but gave me due process, I have to say I’d go along with it.

If it was a much younger child being manipulated by somebody, I wouldn’t go along with it. But a teen? Yes, I’d let them stay in protective custody and wonder what on earth I did wrong with her to have her accusing me of such a thing.

The facts in the case are simple.

The girl asserts that she faces imminent harm or death if returned to her family. No independent verification of this is necessary. And it is impossible to prove a future negative.

Comparatively, there is no indication that she faces harm of any kind if she remains where she is.

Third, for whatever reason, she is estranged from her family, and is of an age in which, in a matter of 11 months, she will be a legal adult.

Fourth, she is not currently a ward of the State, dependent on State resources, delinquent or a threat to herself or others.

As such, there is no compelling State interest in forcing this girl into a situation she claims is life threatening. If she is separated from her family for 11 months, which is not exceeding strange for older teenagers, it is very unlikely to cause harm to either her or them.

It will be interesting to note that once she reaches her majority, and can no longer be compelled to return to her family, if they or others in that community attempt to seek her out against her will.

I’m sure nothing bad will happen to her! But just to be sure we’d better get together and buy a life insurance policy on her that includes an arranged marriage, burned alive, beheading and disappearance indemnity.

But seriously, she needs to stay on the run.

But seriously, she needs to stay on the run.

She needs to try for emancipation as she is so close to being the age of an adult. Failing that she needs to prepare to flee and go into hiding for eleven months. Have a bus ticket and money stashed in a safe place. Some Christian individuals are going to have to expose themselves to criminal charges for hiding her, but there is no choice as her picture will be circulated among Muslim groups who will be looking for her.

After turning 18 she can rely on those same individuals for helping her until the publicity goes away. However, in the eyes of the more radical Muslims, she will always be a figure to be dealt with and maybe killed for her dishonoring family and religion.
