THIS PHOTO IS NOT FROM THE TEA PARTY!
THIS PHOTO IS NOT FROM THE TEA PARTY!
THIS PHOTO IS NOT FROM THE TEA PARTY!

THIS PHOTO IS NOT FROM THE TEA PARTY
Please be careful as this photo is from the million man march. The left and nutroots are using it as a tactic to discredit the real photos. Real photos will have a huge white tent in middle of field.
These are real photos from the Tea Party:

Sadly I’m still getting this fake photo emailed to me and I’m seeing it on some conservative sites where the left is having a field day with it. The left is using it to say that somehow all the photos are fakes. Just a heads up.

How to tell--912 was a very cloudy, cool day. Look at the shadows in the Promise Keeper photo--that's sunshine.
Yesterday in downtown DC was dark!

Can you give a brief explanation?
To: icwhatudo
Actually, I think that that photo is from the Promise Keepers Rally that I attended.
At least that photo looks awfully a lot like the one I saw that demonstrated the crowd size. At that time the estimate was the crowd size was over one million people there.

I believe you are correct. If you google “images” for Million Man March the photo comes up. After reading your comment, I went back to look and saw that it was used to discredit the million man march numbers and is in fact a photo from promise keepers.
Thanks for the correction!
Either way its NOT FROM THE TEA PARTY!

This is a real pic as it has the white tent in middle (way in back by Washington monument). Hopefully someone will post a clearer photo of the mall showing this tent.

Remember—dark, cloudy day—there will be no bright sunshine or sharp shadows in any photo of 912. It was rather cool, for which I was grateful.

The Kos kids will never be able to get a turnout like this. Palin's crowds beat Obama's.

I read where the WH is saying the protestors do not represent mainstream Americans.
Just about blew a gasket.
There’s so much wrong with that statement.
We are Americans.
That’s all we need.
Who judges who’s mainstream?
Far Left loons and liars?
These are people who had Michael Moore with a seat of honor at their convention.
These are people who have avowed Communists in the WH and other nutcases such as Mark Lloyd, Holdren and Sunstein.
In Congress they have Barney Frank, Maxine Waters, Barbara Lee, Diane Watson etc. who love Fidel, want to take over private enterprise and regulate away free speech.
I am angry as I’ve ever been.

What is good about that photo you have is you can clearly see that the crowd is much WIDER than you expect also, it goes and fills the adjoining areas on the other side of the tree line.
Someone, somewhere HAD to of taken an aerial photo.

In the photo from Promise Keepers “Stand in the Gap” rally you can see white teepees in pairs all the way up the street, peeking amidst the crowd. That is how I can tell the difference, FWIW.

When the WH say these people "are not representative of mainstream Americans", they are offering a subjective opinion.
And that opinion is purely based on a liberal slanted point-of-view.
The statements intent is to support the WH position, "it clearly understands" what the "pulse" of America is.
And to comfort the left in telling them the Tea Party movement is minimalist.
The problem for the WH, however, is that it is none of the above is true. In fact, as the movement gains strength, failure to recognize and acknowledge its growing presence is like walking down railroad tracks hoping the train will stop before it hits you. A strategy that will certianly lead to it's downfall, as history has proven time and again, over the ages.

Yes, the picture is real, nutroots
By Michelle Malkin September 12, 2009 10:51 PM
I was offline for most of the afternoon and early evening and just learned that the nutroots are claiming that the screenshot of the 9/12 march in D.C. that I posted taken from a livecam of the event that I linked to here is somehow fake.
The claim is that the shot came from the Kennedy procession or a previous left-wing protest and that the flag at half-mast proves that it was fake.
Newsflash for the clueless: Flags were still at half-mast earlier today in honor of the murder victims of the 9/11 jihadi attacks.
Guess the 9/11-was-an-inside jobbers are still that much in denial.
Unbelievable.

Thank you for posting this. I was there yesterday, and there was some convention going on on the other end of the mall (hence all of the white tents). Furthermore we were more down Pennsylvania Ave - the mall, except around the Capitol, was almost barren.

We marched down Pennsylvania Avenue to the Capitol. We weren’t on the mall down to the Monument. There were some in there, but we didn’t fill that area. There was actually a Black Unity something or another down by the monument (which was a lot of fun walking through afterwards).
Everybody who was there can tell that the Promise Keepers’ photo wasn’t where we were.

This picture is not where we were. There was another event, a black unity event, down by the monument. Trust me, I was there, I walked right through it. This photo is absolutely, positively the Promise Keepers rally, not ours.
Michelle was referring to the time-lapse video down Pennsylvania Ave. That’s where we marched. And the video clearly shows in excess of a million people.
