Ashley Dupre -- the escort who toppled a governor -- is sick of hiding.
Eighteen months after the scandal that took down Eliot Spitzer, the 24-year-old wants to become a singer, a mother, an author -- anything but that girl.
"Everyone likes an underdog story, and everyone likes a comeback," she said during an exclusive interview and fashion shoot with The Post. "I'm the poster child for redemption."

I'm certain that hundreds of men have already given her that chance, perhaps thousands of men. I'm also guessing that she proved herself more than satisfactorily each time. Still, I'd be happy to forget her past if she seemed sincerely repentant ... but despite her "not guilty" look, I have my doubts. I suspect that she's just changed what she's selling (and maybe not even that much).
So what if she makes money. Why shouldn’t she? The NY dailies are making their money off her. Spitzer is making his money off of her. I hope she takes this opportunity and changes her life for good. She hasn’t murdered anyone.
