Police: Mich. Woman Had Sex With Biological Son

WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) -- A Detroit-area woman accused of having sex with her biological son after finding him on the Internet has been charged.
Police say 35-year-old Aimee Louise Sword of Waterford Township is facing one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct after two counts were dropped earlier this week.
Authorities haven't said when or where she and the teenager met, but said she gave him up for adoption more than 10 years earlier. She surrendered to police in April.
Sword is free on bond. Her lawyer, Kenneth Burch, tells The Oakland Press of Pontiac that his client ''maintains her presumption of innocence.'' He said the accusations have been very difficult for her.

Yuck is right! But I don’t know about the criminal charges... If she didn’t know (and he’s past the age of consent) then I’d say she shouldn’t be charged with a crime.

As usual, AP is leaving out a lot of relevant details. They’re implying that the charge is for the incestuous nature of the act, but not actually stating it. How nuanced.
But I say again: Yuck!

We find out or are told:
1. She was arrested in April and released on bond, so why the stories now?
2. She has had some of her children she kept removed from her care by the state. But no claims of abuse in those situations? What does that mean? I guess the children were taken due to neglect not abuse or not sexual abuse?
3. The presumed victim/son in the current case is a teenager, but young enough that they can’t even say how old he is? Does that makes sense? In many states the age of the victim is release, but not Michigan?
4. Hints of a plea offer by the DA with this publicity meant to push her into accepting it?
Wow what could explain this whole situation?
A. Someone of limited capacity?
B. Someone who is a substance abuser?
C. Someone suffering much guilt about giving up one child and having the state take others away and does that take us back to possibility B?
After the left gets homosexual marriage passed, they will be going for mother/son marriages next. I mean, once a marriage is no longer a man and a woman, it is all bets are off. According to the left, nobody can tell 2 consenting adults they can’t marry, right?

Did this woman intentionally seek out the child to have sex with him??
Did she know he was her biological child when the act took place?

She gave him up ten years ago and he is a teenager, so he probably had vague memories of her. Poor kid.
Normally I’d give that a ‘not guilty’ but....man that’s just f’d up.
