I was 2 blocks away paying for a cab when the first plane hit—it sounded like a scream. What my buddy and I saw thereafter was hell on earth. Later I saw body parts everywhere and some poor intern killed by a falling body. Took me 5 years to get rid of those nightmares, and I still shudder everytime a jet plane passes overhead.
