God, on this day of mourning for our nation and mankind, I ask you to please keep us safe from our enemies, both foreign and domestic, who wish on a daily basis to see this great nation fall. Guide us. Protect us. Give comfort to the family and friends of those who died in these tragedies on 9/11. Their sorrow is our sorrow. Please give us strength to stand strong as a nation again, unite against our foes. Give our men and women of the Armed Forces strength everyday to fight for our freedoms. Please keep them safe and if that is not in Your plan, may Your light and love be a guiding light and consolation to those who have lost their loved ones. Thank you, Lord, for my friends and family, including all my cyber friends. We may not know each other but we speak in one voice and honor and love You. Please guide us through this day and tomorrow as our patriots march on the ground You gave us to fight the enemies within our nation so that we may triumph in Your name once more.
Thank you, God, for all you have given us. We ask you to forgive our sins, our petty differences so that we may unite as one, stand strong as one, and know again what it feels like to be an American. I love you, God.

Yes and I pray the same but, there’s this thought running in the back of my mind, how can God bless America?/ abortion on demand, homosexuality run rampant and, a congress who is trying to remove God from every part of out lives ?

You said a prayer we all agree with. Thank you for that beautiful, thoughtful prayer of hope. We watched the memorials this morning. After that...we went out and did maintenace in the yard. Played chant music and it all seemed just right. God bless the fallen and God give continued comfort to those left behind.
God bless our First Responders, Our Firemen/women, Rescue workers, ambulance, hospitals, volunteers and all who responded in any way to assist in helping those who endured such hell on earth.
God bless our military who have kept us safe. I pray for their families as well as they have lost so many of their family members.
God bless President Bush for the strength he instilled and the resolve he showed during one of our lowest times in the history of our country.
