Wikipedia locks congressman's page after he's labeled 'dooshbag'
Posted on 09/10/2009 6:07:06 PM PDT by The Magical Mischief Tour
The Republican congressman whose outburst of "you lie!" during President
Barack Obama's healthcare speech to Congress is now under lock and key. At least online. Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) now has a locked Wikipedia page after vandals edited his profile to allege that he was a dooshbag."
In his Bio it stated:
He is a dooshbag that called the President of the United States a liar on national television and has no respect for the office he holds.

Amazing how liberals have all of a sudden discovered the respect for the Office of the President concept. Desent was patriot when Bush was President. NOW, it’s un-American.

I think they spelled it wrong. But then Rats are ignoramuses.
Its actually spelled with a “ouche” in it, as in referring to Lugar, Graham, Snowe, Collins, McCain and others who supported the Impostor in Chief with the Sunshein nomination and the Cap and Trade Bill and Stimulus Bill.
Joe Wilson is an American Hero. The Rats said the same and worse of Bush. At least Wilson had the cojones to say it to the Imposter-in-Chief's face. Obama owes WILSON and apology - AND US - for his Marxist scheme to rework America.

I called the whitehouse this morning. The number is 202-456-1414.
I told them that Joe Wilson spoke for me, that Mr. Obama had just called, using fancy dan language others who criticized his health program liars. I told the operator that Mr. Obama was the liar and further I really took offense at People like Rangel referrring to me and others who opposed government healthcare as racist. I told her that it was indeed Rangel who was the racist.
PS, The last time I called the Whitehouse was in the 70s to ask for Nixon to leave town. This obama character is so much worse than Nixon. PS It was Nixon who started affirmative action in a futile attempt to get the liberals to go easy on him. May socialists all RIP soon.

They also held to that “respect” during the Clinton. All through Whitewater, Monica and Impeachment. All show, not allowed to get to substance.
The Senate Impeachment trial was a sad joke — the Chief Justice acted like a Summer Theater fill in for the leading man.

If I remember correctly, the Zero used that exact word in his speech last nite to describe some of his opponents...poor trash mouth libtards take offense when you respond to their uncivility in kind.

I went to the Wikipedia entry for Rep. Joe Wilson (R-SC) and found the following statement in the text (emphasis mine):
PolitiFact.com, a nonpartisan website run by the St. Petersburg Times, analyzed the question and concluded that Obama did not lie, and concluded: "When we look at all of this evidence, it seems that health reform leaves in place the status quo on illegal immigration, and certainly does not provide any new benefits particularly for illegal immigrants."
All of a sudden the St. Pete Times has become non-partisan! Will wonders never cease? /sarcasm

Briefly this summer the Wikipedia entry for Mary Jo Kopechne said that she was murdered by Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Just to reassure all of you complaining about the spelling: There was at least one version in which "douchebag" was spelled correctly. See it
here.
Well, it seems correct to me, anyway. I heard a rumor that Ron Paul thinks it should be hyphenated.
