I really feel we need to set aside a thread to THANK Joe Wilson!!

Joe singlehandedly spoke up AGAINT the despicable LIES of President Obama last night!

Whether or not you feel it was the appropriate place for him to speak out or not, he DID say what most of us were thinking while listening to the President spew out bold faced LIES.

Joe Wilson's website has been down since last night! Let's use FreeRepublic right now to say THANKS!!

Honorable Joe Wilson:

You sat there and fumed at the misrepresentations.
You sat there and fumed at the implications that the GOP and the Right were the liars.
You held your tongue until the bitterness overflowed in just a few concise and true words.
In this world of PC, you realized that you had placed your voice, which we need desperately, in jeopardy -- so you apologized for the disruption.
I have never seen any apology for the obscene rudeness during any of GW's speeches to the Houses by any of the Socialistic Left.

Obama’s remark was simply disingenuous, i.e. a lie. The fact is the bill does not amend, supersede, or rescind current law regarding providing care to illegal aliens at public hospitals. It is indisputable that Obama did call critics of the bill liars moments before Wilson’s outburst.
