Better to ask for forgiveness then permission.
This is guerilla tactics and it works.
Nobody jump on him for apologizing. The message was sent to the nation. The President is LYING.
To: Route797
Interesting how quick that acceptance was... sort of like sweeping the actual accusation under the rug where it won’t see the light of day...

Normal people apologize and are still trashed by the left. Don’t bother apologizing - they will still hate you.
Liberals don’t have to apologize. They get a free pass. (Nancy Pelosi and the lie about the CIA)

Hey Obama..YOUR A COMMUNIST PIG and a LIAR..There, I said it..and I WON’T APOLOGIZE EITHER..You wanna make me apologize, I wanna see you try
To: BlessedBeGod
He apologized for interrupting the speech, not for his views.
On the other hand, all Obama was doing in his speech was calling others liars and bad people.

He should have apologized using the same non-apology words they use. Like “I’m sorry if anyone was offended by my calling this unqualified inexperienced radical socialist predender to the Presidency a liar”.

He deserves it.
There were so many better places in the speech to say “liar”,
Really, it was one of the worst places to say liar,
because what Obama said was not really a lie.

DemocRATs *NEVER* *EVER* apologize, not even for leaving a girl in a submerged car to die of asphyxiation.
Not even for having an adulterous affair and a love child while wifey is undergoing chemotherapy for cancer.
Not even for booing Pres. George Bush and calling HIM a Liar, over, and over, and over, and over again.
NEVER apologize for the TRUTH!
When you apologize for speaking the Truth, you look weak, and foolish, and make yourself the LIAR.
Big MISTAKE Joe Wilson.
I was going to donate, but NOT NOW!

While some of his Republican colleagues might agree with the sentiment behind Wilsons comments, many felt the President deserved to be treated with respect and the House Chamber was not the correct forum for voicing those opinions. "Anybody who would cat-call the President of the United States addressing this body is very, very inappropriate and he will hear from a lot of us about that, said California Representative and fellow republican Jerry Lewis in an exclusive interview with Fox News Radio.
You dont have to respect the man but you have to respect the office.
There is a time and place for every thing. The POTUS speaking to a joint secession of Congress was not the place for the comment.
He not only offended the President he offended the other members of Congress.

Where were the apologies when the DemonRATs acted like “British Parliament” when they booed President Bush? Are the Republican opposition just there for the decor? Is the opposition there to merely shut up and let the President throw everyone and the truth under the bus?

My favorite non-apology is the one that goes like this: "I deeply apologize to anyone who misunderstood what I said and were offended".

Exactly. This is all an exercise in horse-fanny-patting now that the barn is empty.
The important thing is that Obuma got upstaged by a guy yelling two words.

He apologized for decorum reasons, not for sentiment. And he did so again this morning on the Today show. He stood by his accusation that the president lied. Then he explained why it was a lie to the Today Show audience.
I agree the disruption should not be condoned. But the message and now the publicity is proving to be a good thing.

Well, it was bad manners.
He was right. But, still bad manners.
If it was me, I would apologize and then go on to detail just every single lie the President told, but say how I should have had more decorum and respect for the office the President was pissing on.
But that’s just me.
