He misses an very important part. There is NO reason you can only buy health insurance within your state or county. You should be able to shop for it nationwide. That is a huge part of the problem. If he wants to fix anything, fix that and also TORT REFORM!

Generally I believe that is a worthwhile goal, but you have to remember President Obama will not let you buy a catastrophic illness policy. He wants to apend teh money on soup to nuts preventive care and then ration resources when you need them most.
You won’t be ALLOWED to go broke to save yourself at that point, you will just die.
