Too bad they didn’t get Sarah to give the Republican response after Obozo’s address tonight instead of that guy from Louisiana. That would have been soooooooooo sweet.

“But the slumbering giant has stirred and has awakened hopping mad.”

That’s what it seems like now, but wait until 2010 and 2012. The media will put icing on everything and characterize those who disagree with Democrats as right-wing crazies. They will intellectualize their arguments and convince the population that conservatives are stupid and Liberals are brilliant.

Trust the “electorate” to vote for Democrats again.

IMHO

Nicely done, Sarah. A lot of good common sense in her. We need that in Washington.

I trust the MSM to do what you say...but in the face of this awakening, and the numbers, and the sentiments...I trust the people to throw these bums out...despite the spin, the fraud, ACORN and all else.

Michael Steele called them on it too, dared them to try.

I’m glad she repeated the ‘death panels’ Rationing by another name, the result is exactly as she describes..death panels.

And why would we let more unvetted individuals get that kind of power? How many more Van Joneses are in or being considered for positions?

Sarah has Zero reeling on his heels. She goes to San Diego on a short vacation, family is touring Scripps, while she is writing a book (soon to be released), pens a few notes to the Wash (com)Post and the WSJ, while scribbling on her Facebook page, and goes back home to catch a few more fish. How could you not want her to be President?

Military tactics are like unto water; for water in its natural course runs away from high places and hastens downwards... Water shapes its course according to the nature of the ground over which it flows; the soldier works out his victory in relation to the foe whom he is facing. Therefore, just as water retains no constant shape, so in warfare there are no constant conditions. He who can modify his tactics in relation to his opponent and thereby succeed in winning, may be called a heaven-born captain. - Sun Tzu

Exactly who will be doing our response tonight?

I cannot watch or listen to The One’s voice. I will listen to ElRushbo’s soundbites tomorrow instead. :)

Huh? Convince the population? The "population" is exactly those whom they're demonizing. They're going to convince US we're right-wing crazies? Fascists? Racists? I don't think so.

This has been the playbook all summer long if not before. Has it worked? Would we be where we are today if it had? I don't think so. I, for one, hope they continue their playbook. It works so well...for us, that is.

Sarah is like political magic - she hits all the right notes. Her words are more presidential than anything coming from the WH.

About Dear Leader’s speech, this morning on Fox and Friends, Gibbs was on and said “the Republicans should stop protesting and come on over and get this bill passed for the American people.”

Brian Kilmeade replied, “But it’s not the Republicans. It’s the grassroots of America.”

Gibbs couldn’t really recover - he tried to yuk it up and said something like “The president’s speech will set everything straight tonight.” YEAH RIGHT.

Why does it take a sweeping healthcare overhaul to remove waste and inefficiency from Medicare and Medicaid. Shouldn’t they be working to do this anyway?

defintely, no one is alone in not wanting to watch yet another OBlahma speech.. I usually opt to clean the litterbox or scrub the toilet instead.

U.S. Rep. Charles Boustany will step into the national spotlight tonight to offer a rebuttal to President Barack Obama’s speech on health care. He was a heart surgeon for 20 years. He was the first Republican to win his congressional seat from the Dem’s since like the late 1800’s.
