Van Jones loved the spotlight. Heck, who wouldn't, after being named a special adviser and green jobs czar for President Barack Obama.
In Kansas City last week, Jones was one of the federal officials flown in to take a look at the Green Impact Zone, an idea to upgrade 150 blocks of low-income neighborhoods.
Jones was introduced twice by fellow, higher-ranking fed officials -- and on both occasions, Jones made sure to interject that he was a "special adviser" to Obama.
But now he's not part of the administration at all, thanks to imprudent remarks and a petition he signed years ago, a petition that implied the federal government allowed 9/11 to happen.
The statement that really got Jones in trouble with radio shock-jock Glenn Beck and other conservatives came in February, when he was at a green energy conference in Berkeley.

Wow. Glenn Beck is a “shock jock.” What’s that make Rev. Jeremiah Wright? A “blaster pastor?”

The level of self-deception among these people is remarkable.
For a Dem, everything is race. It doesn’t occur to them that anyone could disagree with them philosophically.
The Democratic Party is the party of the race obsessed. They can’t see anything past race, and they assume everyone else is like they are.
For us its the opposite. Philosophy is everything. Character is everything. A guy who could heap contempt on our country they way Jones habitually does (”years ago” says the writer... really?) a guy who talks about America the way this guy does would be driven from the party in shame. Among Democrats he is celebrated. If you don’t like him it has to be race, what else could it be?
It took a couple days for the racialists to notice Jones’ skin tone; I’m kinda surprised it took them so long. But now that they’ve noticed they’re not letting it go.

They are emotionally stunted, so that they exhibit all of the emotional maturity of a typical 12-year-old spoiled girl. Such a child will often say, “You don’t like me!” when her behavior is corrected in class. This writer’s estrogen is getting to him again, I suppose.
