Yes, the robot builders forget one thing, killing the other persons robots won't win a war, only killing real people will do that. Infantry, fighting without support, could go around these machines, kill the controllers and win the battle. Some robots would be useful, I can see using trucks without drivers, if the trucks could be controlled and seen by someone all along the route, but machines can't think and if the operator can't see well enough then the machine is going down.
People who think we can replace our live pilots with drones are also delusional.
