Obama transition chief and head of the leftist Center for American Progress, John Podesta, laid in to Glenn Beck tonight with a spirited but after the fact defense of former Obama administration official Van Jones that was posted tonight at Think Progress:
Van Jones is an exceptional and inspired leader who has fought to bring economic and environmental justice to communities across our country.
He has chosen to resign because he believed he was serving as a distraction to the president’s agenda. I respect that decision.
Van was working to build a common ground agenda for all Americans, and I am confident he will continue that work. Unfortunately, his critics on the right could find no common ground with him.
Clearly, Van was the subject of a right-wing smear campaign shrouded in hypocrisy. Van’s chief tormentor Glenn Beck, who spent weeks engaged in vicious name-calling, retains his perch at Fox News after calling the president a racist who has “a deep-seated hatred for white people.” Van has set a standard that Beck would never impose upon himself.
I look forward to working with Van to move our country towards a clean energy economy that empowers and lifts up all Americans.
Van Jones is a race-baiting, America-hating, cop-hating, terrorist-sympathizing, expert at living off the public teat. In other words he's a perfect Democrat. No wonder Podesta loves this guy and looks forward to working with him (again).
You blame Bush for going in and stopping all the horrible things Saddam and his boys were creating.
You blame Beck for shining a light on all the horrible things Jones said and did.
If Saddam and Jones hadn't done and said those things, there'd be nothing to talk about.
Libs need to take a look in the mirror!
Podesta is soft on Communists and clearly agrees with them on many things. I believe the Center for American Progress is one of the most significant, if not most significant influencer of progressive policies in this administration. They’re funded by Soros ANC are way out if the American mainstream.

Note to Podesta: You, sir, are as blind, arrogant, and foolish as Van Jones himself. You should resign from all future statements and public appearances so you do not continue to show how foolish you really are. We will take this country back from liberals like you, by the way.

He'll continnue to suck a couple hundred thousand a year off of various groups and foundations for the rest of his life. But, track the money back far enough and it'll still be taxpayers money he receives.

What these SOB’s seem to forget is the torment that was foisted upon capitalists during their first few glory day months. When they thought they could get away with trashing our liberty endlessly, they stomped on private business to the point that CEOs caved on points that common sense told them to hold firm.
To quote an early 80’s song, “We need a white knight on a firey steed”. He arrived in the form of Glen Beck, townhall patriots, and many others. Obama has been laid bare. We must keep him there for not only carrion to feed but his former prey as well.
Alinsky tell us that we should continue to go after the czars for awhile. However, that tactic will bore folks long before all 47 other czars are done. We will need to keep it fresh and come up with other tactics to keep our folks interested and our enemy off balance.
