Nice article. I wonder where she teaches and bet her students know they’re pretty lucky.

Sarah Palin, the daughter I wished I had.

She turned out so much better than she might have. Of course, she has a core strength that nobody could have shaped or formed for her.

Sometimes, the good Lord puts angels among us here on earth.

Sarah does get it. GO SARAH GO!

Every time the left, DNC, MSM, and RINOs go after Sarah, they hurt themselves and raise her up in the eyes and esteeem of everyday Americans.

"The America I know and love is not one in which my parents or my baby with Down Syndrome will have to stand in front of Obama's 'death panel' so his bureaucrats can decide, based on a subjective judgment of their 'level of productivity in society,' whether they are worthy of health care. Such a system is downright evil" - Sarah Palin, August 8, 2009

"We face challenging times with some hell-bent on tearing down our nation by perpetuating pessimism and apologizing for America. They suggest that our best days were yesterdays. But how can this pessimism exist? Proof of our greatness and pride is all around us today. We produce proud and great volunteers who sacrifice everything for their country.

"We can resist enslavement to big central government that crushes hope and opportunity. We must be wary of government largesse. It doesn’t come free and often accepting it takes away everything that is free. Melting into Washington’s powerful and caretaking arms will only lead to suck away the incentive to work hard and chart our own course. This will only contribute to an unstable economy and dizzying national debt, and it will make us less free.

"We don’t have to feel that we must beg an allowance from Washington – except to beg the allowance to be self-determined.

"See, in order to be self-sufficient (we) must be allowed to develop, to drill and build and climb to fulfill our promise! We can not start believing that government is the answer. It can’t make you happy or healthy or wealthy or wise. What can? It is the wisdom of the people and our families and our small businesses and industrious individuals. And it is God’s grace helping those who help themselves." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009
SARAH'S FAREWELL SPEECH AS GOVERNOR - GREAT READ

Sarah is now going to give sppeches, get her book out, and promote conservatie principles all over this country in the midst of the Obama administration disaster and gain great political capital in the process. Then she will support conservative candidates in 2010 and help them win, amassing much more political capital. She will then take all of that and make an awesome, stunning run for the Presidency in 2012.

"...like that grizzly guards her cubs, as a mother naturally guards her own. I will keep that vow wherever the road may lead." - Sarah Palin, July 26, 2009

The Left hates Christian women who have babies. In that sense, their hatred and contempt for Sarah is no mystery.

What they really can’t comprehend is why so many citizens love her. What’s to love?—She never promised to take over their health care; she never promised to replace Jesus as their Messiah; she never promised to protect their right to kill their babies. There’s absolutely nothing lovable about her at all!

The last place I would expect this from is an African-American school teacher. This girl is brave and not afraid to go against the grain.

I have been a fan of Gov. Palin, since her national introduction. And I agree with the author of this article. But recently, I have felt frustration with what seems to be a case of agoraphobia on the part, on a few occasions. I realise that she is in a low profile reorganisation period, and there are lirterally thousands of groups that want her to speak tyo their members. But I really thought that she should have made time to appear at the Reagan library event, and that she should also have spoken at the national meeting of Republican Women meeting. These, in my mind, were critical events that could have advanced and given her valuable support, whatever path she chooses. And to me it came across as somewhere between petulant, and agoraphobic, that it was made to appear that she pulled out at the last moment from them. This could be miscommunication, but it’s happened several times now. Either there is a incompetant press secretary somewheres, or I find myself wondering if she’s gone gunshy.

Or she could be biding her time. Or she could have decided not to seek election

Mark Twain said it well, “Go where you're wanted much little, and little not at all.”

I expect the explosion of pure hate and vitriol that was loosed on her from the moment of her selection by John McCain took her by surprise. Not surprise that it came along but just how determined and unfettered it was. She probably needs several months to build up her titers before she wades into it again.

She's my man, so to speak, until she proves otherwise!

Palin must go . . . To the White House!

But she *is* accepting and speaking at some engagements...even ones where she travels to foreign countries to make those engagements.

So I can only conclude that there is a strategy being employed, in picking which events will be attended, and for maximizing the best benefit derived, with the speaking fee, being only one consideration.

That said, There are obviously some events are more important for their non monetary values to Mrs Palin.

I find it hard to think that no matter the speaking fee, or lack of one, should have been a factor, when it came to appearing at those two specific events that i mentioned.

Those decisions, as an outsider to her planning, seemed contrary to her best interests, and my hopes for her potential.

We have over 3 years to the election. All she has to do now is keep her name in the press and make sure people remember her.

Wow, what a nice article. On the author's blog, here is her "about me" paragraph:

I am a born-again Christian who is madly in love with Jesus, an English teacher, and an avid Sarah Palin supporter. I believe she's been called to the forefront "for such a time as this." Yes, it's time for people of integrity to stand up, speak up, and make a difference. My sole motivation? The TRUTH!

I couldn't agree with you more Adrienne!

She's Got IT
Perhaps, but she blew it with me.

"You represent what could and should be a respected honest profession, that could and should be a cornerstone of our democracy. Democracy depends on you." Sarah Palin

She may have it, but she doesn't get it. She's fallen into the same trap so many others have.

The Battle Hymn of the Republic Democracy
...and to the Republic Democracy, for which it stands...
The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government Democracy...

For those who dare...Bring it!

I thought I read that she has been in San Diego with a writer writing her memoir. This is very important because she is going to need as much money as she can get in order to run for POTUS. I can understand why she felt this important to do and I can’t see Agoraphobia in any of her actions. I know Agoraphobia well...my sister has it and I was married to a man who had it.
