A school principal has apologized for showing a video at an assembly that a politically conservative group leader is calling "radical, leftist propaganda."
Children at Eagle Bay Elementary School in Farmington were shown a short video called "I pledge" on Aug. 28. The video opens with an image of President Barack Obama and part of a speech in which he says, "Let us summon a new spirit of patriotism, of responsibility where each of us resolves to pitch in and work harder and look after not only ourselves but each other." The video then features celebrities making pledges about how they will help the president and the world -- and that's where some say the problem lies.

Utah is the reddest state in the nation, and this community has to be one of the reddest counties in that state. If Farmington is having Marxist problems there is NO WHERE else to move!
So?...If Marxism has seeped into Farmington government schools, why on earth would any conservative believe that their child's school is somehow different?

Ok, so the parents protested the video, that isn't going to make the underlying Marxist indoctrination disappear. Their children **will** be slowly cooked in this subtle stew of communist worldview ( without it being overtly called that) for 13 or more YEARS!

I would love for an investigative journalist (a real one - not just one in name only) to find out where the PTA board got the video from. I wonder if it was the national or state PTA. The PTA as an organization is essentially a wing of the NEA, which is essentially a wing of the DNC.

As this economic implosion continues, there could be an opportunity to take advantage of the inability of the state to pay for all it is doing. Schools were shut down in the Great Depression. I believe it could happen again. That would be the time for homeschoolers to make better in-roads of the middle class. It will depend on how strong the dictator becomes, and how much freedom there will be by then.
